  "The Whip does not disappoint! I have been there off and on for 25 years, starting as a very poor student who had to share 2 beers with 4 friends! So fun to be able to afford a whole martini on my own! They have a good wine by the glass menu....I had the Malbec. Yum! How NICE to spend my birt..."hday dinner there last week! My friend and I had a lovely dinner.....but I have to say, I had the filet mignon with the gorgonzola crust, and it was PERFECTLY cooked. And I say this as a Texan! Who rarely eats red meat!!! If you are in the Stowe area, do not miss this iconic spot.....be SURE to linger over the old photos of Stowe and Mt. Mansfield that are on the walls leading into the Whip....so interesting!
