  "Enjoyed our family dinner at Fireside. Five diners enjoyed delicious app of artichoke dip. The chowder was also very nice. Fish dishes were particularly good - halibut was prepared perfectly. Other entrees were also good. Wine list extensive, but the white wine we ordered was not cold for some reaso..."n (?). Unusual for an upscale restaurant. They provided a wine chiller with ice. Shared a dessert that was also good - a type of fruit tart. Nicely perpared martinis from the bar. The atmosphere in the restaurant was casual yet upscale, very relaxing. Service was initially slow - a long wait for both our drinks and apps, but we were in no rush. This is certainly the nicest restaurant in Port Ludlow and recommended. Be warned, however, that the prices reflect those of a high-end restaurant. We stayed at the inn and also had breakfast - good but 15 dollars for an omlet? " More >

  "Loved the food and the service. Oh, and sitting by the fire looking out on the marina wasn't too bad either! Chef Dan is an artist at his craft. Try the homemade fig/cherry compote on the cheese plate. Oh, and his Scallops Provencale? Divine!"
