"Stopped in on a Friday evening without a reservation and were greeted with a warm hello from several staff, and seated promptly. My husband ordered the Lake perch, which was fresh (not frozen!). He raved about it being perfectly prepared and how it brought back memories. I had the Thai coconut and s..."hrimp soup. It was divine! The spicy soup had so many layers of flavor and was absolutely perfect. I hope that's on the menu next time we drop in, because I am still thinking about it.
Since many items on the menu are pricey, we tend to only go here on special occasions, but the fish fry and entree-sized soup were reasonably priced and exceptionally tasty. We'll save the pricier items for those special occasions, but will definitely be back more often.

"We arrived at Olive Garden about 6:30 pm. The hostess told us it would be about a 30 minute wait. We waited in the bar area and had a glass of the Porta Vita Bianco. Excellent glass of white wine for the money. Very nice Italian decor.
We were brought to our table, our server noticed that w..."e had wine already and offered to tell us about the Porta Vita wines. She also asked if we would like a sample. My wife and I tried a sample of the Porta Vita Rosso. Excellent glass of red wine, could really taste the Sangiovese. Very nice but we chose to stick with the Bianco.
For our first course, we had the Olive Garden salad and bread sticks. Excellent salad and the salad dishes were chilled.
For our main entre, we both had the Ravioli di Portobello. While we ate our dinner we noticed more extremely nice Italian and wine related decor, also noticed the food service people dressed in Chef Jackets bring out food and presenting it to the different tables. Nice touch!

"My daughter had recently returned home from college for summer break and my wife was off on an escape weekend to Madison with her girlfriend. So my daughter and I decided to have Saturday night dinner at Radigan's in Pleasant Parie, WI which is on Sheridan Rd. just north of the IL/WI border. I am ..."a Saturday night steak and martini guy and I pride myself in grilling a pretty good ribeye. On this particular visit Mary was cooking so I decided to try the Radigan Ribeye. Without mixing words it was without doubt the very best I have ever had for that slice of meat. Mary had it done to perfection and although it is a little on the pricier side, you can really tell its a prime cut and worth every penny. My daughter had the gulf shrimp which she also found to be prepared in an excellent fashion. Hats off to Mary, not only has she brought new life to a restaurant started by her Grandfather, and along with her cooking skills and menu selection Radigan's should be around for many years to...
