"On a day trip to Bandelier National Monument last week, my husband and I stopped for lunch in Los Alamos. Nothing vegan or vegetarian turned up in my online searches, so we just pulled into parking lots and read menus. Pyramid Cafe was recommended by a local we chatted with at the door. Since they h..."ad a small vegetarian section on the menu, we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Mediterranean Falafel Plate, and the Tunisian Combo Plate. Both were generous and wonderful, and reasonably priced at around $9 each. You do need to specify "no cheese" if you want it vegan, because they use feta as a garnish. The atmosphere is clean but nothing special - a little strip-mallish. The service was friendly and fast, even at a busy weekday lunch hour. We would definitely go there again if we're ever in the neighborhood. They also have a place in Santa Fe, so we'll look for that one too.
