"I chose this restaurant because I was craving Creme Brulee & it was close to my hotel. I was pleased to end up with more than just a satisfied craving. The atmosphere was perfect - I was dining alone and felt completely comfortable in an area where there were some larger groups of people dining to..."gether. The waitress was very polite, professional & attentive & made a suggestion for a type of wine that ended up being perfect. All of the food was scrumptious! From the bread all the way to dessert - my taste buds were grateful. The mashed potatoes were delicious & the asparagus was cooked perfectly. My favorite part of the whole meal ended up not even being my dessert - it was the steak! I had filet mignon & it was one of the MOST tender & tasty steaks I've had in quite a long time. Okay, I did thoroughly enjoy the creme brulee as well! :)
I was very satisfied with this restaurant & will definitely be back again the next time I'm in Madison.

"This upscale casual restaurant, complete with linen napkins, table cloths and fresh flowers on each table, offers gourmet Mexican dishes with prices that reflect its quality. The dinner menu, which features specialty entrees and twists on traditional dishes, leans heavy toward beef but offers three ..."vegetarian and a few chicken options. Two of us enjoyed the delicious barbacoa, the daily specialty, but regretted we didn’t heed the server’s warnings. Though the flavorful beer-marinated dish didn’t taste spicy at the time, a few hours later we were reminded of the warning. The tomatillo sauce served with the complimentary basket of chips is sublime. One in our party raved about the delicious vegetarian sauce served on his dish, while another in our party noted that the mole chicken dish was bland. The servings are moderate-sized so try the creamy, caramel flan for dessert. It’s made there and has the best texture and taste of any flan I’ve ever eaten. The sangria is delicious, they have n...

"We love Brew Pubs yet find that many are the same in terms of food, not the Great Dane. Recommended by our motel desk clerk, we found parking near by and were seated immediately. Perused the Beer Board and took care of the important part of the order.
We then opened the menu and found an eclectic..." assortment of food that sounded different. We ordered and were surprised at the quality of the food. Although not on the level of Gourmet, it was surprisingly good for pub food. I had the Southwest Tortellini and found it to be different in flavor than what I expected. It was not overpowered with what is perceived as "Southwestern" flavoring. The other three members of our party were equally pleased with their selections.
The sad part, we could not stay in Madison and sample all of the brews. Even sadder is that there are multiple locations, each with a different selection. The Brews took in every possible taste. Do yourself a favor and stop in and if you live in Madison, you are very ...
