  "I was taken to this restaurant by a friend-who told me it was a favourite place for very good inexpensive food... I hadn't been to a restaurant in Montaione previously-but I will certainly come back to this one...very welcoming staff and the meal was very enjoyable."

  "We read other reviews on this restaurant and tried to find it a couple of times before succeeding! It is a good drive outside Montaione and you can miss the drive to it as it is before a bridge and there is a road of just after the bridge which can confuse some (like us)! It is set in lovely ground..."s and looks really pretty. We had not booked so were lucky to get a table. Very atmospheric and rustic looking interior. On the night we visited there were lots of Italians eating which I feel is always a good sign. Service was good and the food we ordered was superb. We both had the sliced steak. So much meat and so tasty. You do not automatically get asked how you like your steak cooked so do ask if you do not like your meat on the rare side. Had a lovely evening there.
