I stayed with friends overnight as we were taking in a nearby skating competition. We parked our vehicle & didn't move it til we drove home, as this hotel has a shuttle that will take you to city sites ( & to the airport if your'e lucky) Reception, Dining & Shuttle Driver were all friendly, courteous & helpful. Our small room was on the main floor. It was adequate, clean, quiet & had very comfortable double beds. The free breakfast offered an array of items including yogurt, fruit & eggs. I was impressed that they heated milk for my morning coffee! Just ask! Didn't get a chance to use the outdoor pool & spa, but they do heat it year round.

Room tip: Ask for what is important to you. " I'd appreciate a larger room."

We chose the Coast Capri Kelowna as we were visiting with Family in from Japan. I found the front desk very helpful in suggesting where to walk to shopping. Upon check-in, again, they were most courteous and friendly. I was impressed after we went up to our room on the 6th floor and checked it out, we had a courtesy call from the front desk asking if everything was to our satisfaction and to be sure to call the front desk if we needed anything.
We are accustomed to average comfortable accommodations, and here we felt as if we had moved up a notch or two. The bathroom is always the first room checked. The tub and the tile surrounding simply gleamed! The tile floor was immaculate and having creamy wallpaper on one side of the room gave the room class. I loved the pull out magnifying mirror. Towels were not stiff or rough like many, but just right.
There is a single-cup coffee bar and a fridge.
The room itself was delightful. It had two banks of windows and an outside patio that overlooked the downtown area. There was a good-sized desk with a "real" office chair, and a comfy armchair with a foot rest. Even the carpet was cozy. Now to the bed! We had two King beds with an amazing mattress. Pillows ... I want one! ... there was a large King one, a smaller one, as well as support pillows. The bedding was white and crisp. My wife and I had the best sleep in ages. At the end of the bed was a wide flat-screen TV.
The room and the hotel were very quiet.
We had breakfast in the hotel. It was included in the price and it was not your standard breakfast fare but was upgraded and got our day off to an amazing start . It was wonderful, two eggs, three slices of bacon, enough fresh fruit that could have made a fruit cup, great potatoes, toast, and a glass of fresh juice . All presented as you would expect in a high end restaurant. Service was fast and our server was pleasant. We really enjoyed unwinding in the pool after a day in the Vineyard's. Dinner in the Vintage Restaurant was amazing and the service top notch.
Overall we just loved our stay - the Coast Capri is the best in Kelowna

Very mixed review regarding this hotel.

The Good -
-Beds and Pillows are excellent
-The pool and exercise room and very nice
-The restaurant area is stylish and serves good food. Breakfast was really good.
-Check in staff are nice

The Bad-
The rooms on the main floor are old, smelly and dirty. The first room I was given smelled awful and had hair everywhere in the bathroom. There was also a tool nail clipping on the toilet seat?? Not sure how cleaning staff would miss this. The walls are filthy near light switches and the walls in general are in rough shape.
Several evening partys were booked in the ballroom which is right by my 2nd room. Party guests would open the door to the pool area and hoot and holler and it was incredibly annoying. Hotel seemed to care more about these party bookings then the hotel guests themselves.

The Ugly -
Breakfast is included notwithstanding gratuity. I ate 3 breakfasts and was asked if I wanted coffee, which is included only on the last day. I did not tip day 1 or 2 and was chastised both times by the lady with curly hair and glasses. I would provide a tip gladly, but for poor service I would never. To be confronted and belittled is absolutely unacceptable. "Thanks buddy" in a sarcastic tone is ridiculous.

I would not recommend this hotel to business colleagues or friends.

Room tip: Don't stay on the ground floor

We had a good room but near the service lift so asked for move, no problem and had a great night's sleep. Lots a space and was easy walk into Kelowna. Found service and breakfast OK. Not sure I'd want to stay more than 1 or 2 nights though.

Room tip: rooms away from lifts better!

came up to Kelowna for family wedding from mainland. Hotel was very clean, rooms also. Hotel was older, we had a single room, quiet small. Breakfast was great hot meal. Got hotel with coupon, was reasonable but if paid full price would have been expensive
