I chose the Accent Inn because it was the least expensive last-minute option available to me that still had an acceptable rating on TripAdvisor, and I only needed a quiet place to lay my head at night while in Kelowna for 2 days. I requested a late check-in, which went quickly and efficiently. Free wi-fi, but had to keep entering the code every time I clicked a link or opened a new page. The staff also responded really quickly when I was having problems using my card to access my room (which turned out to be me, removing my swipe card too quickly, the trick is to do it slowly).
The room itself (on the second floor) was a pleasant surprise - probably one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in, and for a budget hotel, the room decor was better coordinated than most in its class. The bed was great, but although there were a lot of pillows on the bed, they are all for back-sleepers (huge puffy things, not so great for stomach sleepers). Good temperature control and white noise with the A/C & heating unit, but the early-morning slamming of a neighbouring door woke me up abruptly; it really was so loud that I heard/felt it again when I was in the shower with the water running. I was also on the quiet side of the building, rather than facing Harvey, which I would also recommend for light sleepers.
If you're looking for friendly/helpful staff, and a clean, reasonably priced room in Kelowna, this fits the bill perfectly.
