This was a great hotel. The location was wonderful and you could walk to many of the paris tourist attractions. We were a family of four travelling with two adult children. We had interconnecting rooms. The rooms were very spacious for a Paris hotel and the bathroom was a very good size. The rooms and bathrooms were absolutely spotless. We stayed over Easter for six nights and when we returned on Easter Sunday in both of our rooms there was a lovely chocolate Easter bunny from the beautiful chocolate shop around the corner. What a lovely surprise!
The staff were incredibly helpful and patient and would go all sorts of trouble to help us with our endless questions about locations we wanted to get to.
There are several restaurants close by. I have to say they were all great but wouldn't try the pizza place again - not at all friendly or helpful.
The only negative about this hotel was that the lady in the breakfast room could have been a little more friendly and welcoming but we didn't worry about that really.
This hotel should be rated much higher it is a great place to stay!

Three nites in May was not enough. Rue de l'Arcade is in a neighborhood near La Madeleine and its metro and two-three blocks from Place de la Concorde, and very peaceful (there are several small hotels in the area). Had a nice room on the street side, very pleasant. The staff was friendly, gracious, and very helpful. Breakfast, if desired, was in a room on the main floor with windows, not down in some basement. It's an excellent buffet. Just down the street is an charming pattisserie for rolls, breads, coffee, and fresh squeezed juice! The hotel has a restaurant arrangement with another hotel next door, but there are some small restaurants a few steps away - Papa's features duck dishes with atmosphere. Cost about 200 euro/nite.

We stayed at this hotel from May 13-18. Great location, but more than that a wonderful accomadating staff. Whatever we asked of them they took care of. They were so nice and pleasant.

The room was clean and lovely with a bathroom that allowed you to take a shower without the water spraying all over the floor. Breakfast was excellent .

We we ould definately go back again ;

Room tip: First time , the room was on the 3rd floor and very nice.

We were able to check in to our room at 10am after an overnight flight from Canada...this gave us a chance for a few hours of sleep before our first day walk around Paris. The location is excellent for getting everywhere, on foot, or Metro....plus the benefit of the Roissybus from the airport direct to the Opera which is only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. We spent six nights in a beautiful end room and then returned from Provence for two more nights in the Suite! The staff were reliably friendly and helpful with our requests....which included getting a doctor, who gave excellent care as well! Great breakfast, cleanliness and comfort !

Room tip: Upper floor, end room!

Very nice quiet hotel near the Madelaine with its upscale shops. Metro a block away. Neighborhood restaurants range from reasonable to expensive. Nice little bar for breakfast around the corner. Short walk to Concorde and Champs Elysses. Get Paris Tour Bus near Meto station. Hotel doesn't have a restaurant but several close by. My preferred Parisian hotel is the Hotel du Louvre but this one is 125€ cheaper per night!

Room tip: Fair amount of street noise in front of hotel
