My Fiance and I were recently in Paris and had troubles getting in to our Airbnb due to our flight getting delayed (we missed our original check in date). As we were trying to get a hold of our Airbnb host and freaking out because we didn't have an international plan to call our Airbnb host, the front desk receptionist/In charge, was extremely helpful. She was very nice and completely understanding of our situation. translating emails from our host for us and helping us write in French to our host. We were not customers but the way she treated us, I will stay here on our next trip to Paris. The location is amazing. You are close to the subway, great places to grab a bite to eat, and a very short walk (10 minutes) to the Seine. We actually looked and the rooms and rates of the Hotel (we didn't think we were going to be able to get into our original place that day.) and it looks amazing. The price is perfect and was actually less expensive then the place we stayed at during our stay in Paris. The lobby is very nice, clean, organized, and quiet (could here any traffic from outside). To top everything off, the lady in charge actually let us store our begs there so we could enjoy the city and grab a bite to eat. This place is amazing. The best customer service I have ever experienced.

If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further, you found it. This place is amazing.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your review. We always do our best to make guests as welcome as possible.
We regret you chose airbnb and not our Hotel, Airbnb are creating unfair competition for the Hotel business. They don't have to pay the same taxes as we have to, they don't have any obligations regarding security protection (in case of fire etc...), they very often don't offer any service (cleaning, breakfast...) and as you experienced they don't have 24h/24 people ready to welcome you and to finish prices aren't cheaper as you experienced also...
We will be very happy to welcome you during your next stay in Paris.
Kind regards.

We were very happy with our first trip to Paris and decision to stay at Hotel Saint Christophe. First off, I am sure we made the right decision in staying in this Place Monge neighborhood after seeing the crowds closer to the Seine attractions. Only a few blocks further away made all the difference, as the neighborhood had more of a "local" feel and was more relaxed in pace. The Hotel itself was very pleasant -- very calm, very quiet, and provided a welcome respite for weary feet after a day of seeing all the sights. Just a block away was the Rue Mouffetard and its restaurants and hub bub. We requested and were given a quite spacious room on the 5th floor overlooking Rue Lacepede. A word of caution however -- the street side rooms are a bit busy, with traffic noise and other night sounds well into the early morning hours, though we slept well enough. Finally, we have to end our review by noting the extremely polite and helpful front desk staff. Each person we met downstairs always greeted us in French and English and were always courteous. One gentleman (a taller fellow with glasses whose name I didn't catch) was kind enough to provide my wife with needle and thread to mend her ripped coat, an iron, a bowl of ice, a corkscrew and 2 champagne flutes (which we hadn't even asked for, but he was observant enough to note our bottle of wine after a grocery trip) all at the same time! He couldn't have been any more kind and helpful. While I suppose we could try a fancier Parisian hotel on a future stay, the location and customer service we experienced at Hotel Saint Christophe convinces me that we will likely return here if possible on our next trip to such a wonderful and beautiful city!

Room tip: Street side rooms are indeed fairly busy, so if you are a light sleeper, you may wish to request a quieter room. That being said, I imagine the Hotel Saint Christophe is no louder nor quieter than any other hotel in the busier neighborhoods of Paris.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
Thank you very mcuh for your kind review.
We are very happy to read your review and find out how much you enjoyed staying with us.
Your review will be very useful to future guests.
Regarding the noise on the street, we are in central Paris, so there is a bit of traffic. In any case if you have " light sleep" we can provide rooms that look out on the central court yard.
We hope to see you soon.
Kind regards

We wanted an inexpensive hotel close to metro line 10 in order to get to Longchamp for the horseracing. We spent two nights in the hotel. Although small it had everything that we needed. A warm welcome and very helpful desk staff.,a small but efficient lift ,an immaculately clean room and en suite, a quiet location but proximity to bars and restaurants , a perfectly adequate and inexpensive breakfast made this a place to stay again amd to recommend to others. No frills but safe and comfortable.

This Hotel is near everything. It's a 2 minute walk from the subway station, 15 minute walk from Notre Dame and there are excellent restaurants everywhere. The rooms are average size, nice bathroom, desk, closet, and a small TV. I think the hotel is very interesting. The stars are really steep and narrow, so for someone who has a hard walking this is not the right place. They do have a elevator but it is very small, fits maybe 2 people at the most. The hotel is right across from a very good bakery. The hotel also serves breakfast and the service is wonderful. I've stayed here 4 times and its never disappointed me.

Room tip: All the rooms are the same

We've stayed here 4 times now. by Parisian standards, the rooms are spacious and well-furnished. Staff are always helpful and available 24 hours a day.
It's a great location, just 5 minutes walk fro rue Mouffetard and 15 or so from Notre Dame.

Room tip: All rooms similar. Very small lift
