Perfect location in city centre and port.
They keep it clean, and the bathroom is nice.
We got a room inside with no windows, so the view is nothing to write home about, so the reason for landing on 2 stars.
Grumpsy staff. Skip the hotel hotel breakfast.

Room tip: Ask for a window

I am a young 51 yr old travelling with my 19 yr old daughter and used this lovely small hotel as a base to travel many places using public transport which all went fantastic. Air con was a miss but room was not uncomfortable (early June) as window open at all times as upper floor with fancy grill. Breakfast was basic but lasts all morning apparently. one morning we did not have breakfast as going out on the bikes in the alley next to door from restaurant and the waiter saw us and signalled his dismay then brought us a picnic for the bike ride. No English spoken but all needs attended to in a lovely friendly way.
Its not fancy but you can go across the road for roof terrace champagne as the location is fantastic.
Also wifi included.

Very conveniently located decent hotel - good sized rooms, clean and comfortable.
We stayed only one night and we did not take the breakfast option. Public parking available nearby - it is fairly expensive but it is worthwhile if you want to stay in a central location.
Very friendly and helpful personnel - they gave us directions, maps and good recommendations for dinner and what to visit.

Hotell is situated in Málagas Soho - on Alameda Principal, where most of the local buses stop. Also really close to the local bus station, the main tourist office and the historic part of the city. The cathedral is just 5 minutes away - on foot. And it will take you about 15 minutes to walk to the beach - La Malagueta. You will also find a wide variety of international restaurants in the new part of the port - called Muelle Uno. And of course all sights and restaurants and bars in the historic center is really easy to reach from the hotel. Staff was very helpful and all of them spoke English. Hotel has a bar/cafe for breakfast. I did not try it so I really cannot say how it is. Lots of nice places to have breakfast close by. Room was quite big and comfortable - and clean. Hotel was not too expencive either.

Room tip: I asked for a room that did not face the main street (Alameda Principal). Windows were good however, so maybe it is not that important after all

The location is excellent just across road from main shopping street the rooms are ok bath/shower nice size bathroom and bedroom with a safe and wardrobe space and the price 77 euros a night ( Expedia ) there is air con but takes a while to cool down room !
Forget the included breakfast which is not a help yourself style but consisted of a coffee and cheese and ham on toasted bread roll and a yogat only one coffee aloud !! (Just behind hotel there is a cafe bar which has a board outside and says full English breakfast 7:50 euros ( I didn't try it ) wifi free but sporadic aid but there is internet accesses on each floor if you pay ,
We were on the side of the building room 216 2nd floor when we arrived there are building works going on around the back but double sliding door on the small balcony stopped a lot of noise in early morning from outside but the walls between rooms are so thin you can hear people talk in next room anyway we were told we had to move as there was a problem with the pipes and there couldn't fix them if we were in the room and we were moved to 214 this didn't have double sliding doors on balcony and at 5:30 am next morning we were awoke by massive of shovelling debris noise from behind hotel but was echoing up the side alley I complained to the reception and the reply off them was it wasn't there fault they couldn't be responsible for noise outside hotel but said they will move us back to 216 as they had fixit the pipes but we learned that it wasn't the pipes that needed fixing but they were upgrading the furniture in the room !!
Taxis across road charged 20 euros to airport
Travel agent behind hotel charged 55 euros for coach trip to Rhonda ( worth the trip )
We also took local bus from station behind hotel to balcony of Europe about 1 hour 20 min cost 8:20 euro return ticket

Room tip: Wifi didn't always work we were at the side alley 2 nd foor which was noisy I did email when I booked hotel to ask for a nice room so I assume I was in one or they ignored me
