After nearly missing my flight and losing my luggage, I felt like I came home. Pablo who greeted me was warm, caring and very professional. He told me tips on where to go and what to try. My spotless, standard room was beautifully decorated ( 50s retro ) with modern amenities. The location of the hotel is super convenient, within a few minutes of walking distance to the old center. My experience in Malaga would not have been what it was without this place, best decision.

First time we have stayed in Malaga and this hotel proved to be a good choice. Very clean, quiet but central location. Near the port area, stations etc. Good value. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. What else to want?

We stayed here for 3 nights. Staff all excellent and very helpful. Room spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. Lots of nice toiletries, iron from reception if needed.breakfast excellent.location is extremely handy for railway station to airport but also for the old town and port.stayed at room mate Larios before and thought this was as good - wifi and breakfast was better here.
Rooftop bar a bonus at Larios but we went and used it on this visit and was quiet in the afternoon and sat and chilled with a drink on the sofas.
Please note there is no bar in this hotel but there's a mini bar in the room.
Will be returning with my friend and will stay here.

A return stay for four nights ...great location ,so handy for the train connection with the Airport and also for the railway station ,if you want to make a few trips out of the city as we did to Ronda and Cordoba .
Room was very spacious ,modern and clean with good en-suite ....breakfast buffet was very good ,once you work out how the coffee machine works etc.
Staff are friendly in that sort of reserved, not pushy sort of way.
Very good location for short walk to city centre shops, bars ,restaurants and attractions .
All in all, could not fault the place and hope to be back again soon !

Room tip: Fourth floor rooms are quieter.

We stayed in this hotel again after a great experience in March. On booking we requested room 404 which we stayed in previously. The hotel accommodated our request and left us a lovely letter in our room thanking us for our custom again. The hotel is in a great location, clean and quite. We will definitely stay at Room Mate Lola again in future.

Room tip: Try and get a room on the 4th floor
