I was petrified of making it to the hotel without being pickpocketed in light of the numerous comments about Piazza Garibaldi which is outside the train station and which the hotel is situated on. Either I was street smart and had taken all the precautions necessary, or the pickpocketing is not as rife as it is made out to be (atleast during daytime).

What would have helped is if the hotel had made it clear how to approach its location because crossing the road in front of the hotel is a nightmare. My recommendation is if you are walking away from the train station to the hotel, walk on your right hand side of the Piazza as the final pedestrian crossing is much closer to the hotel.

During my 3 night stay, twice I was told that there computer systems were not working. On the first occasion, my check-in was delayed (whilst other people seemed to have no problems checking-in). On the second occasion, I was told that I hadn’t paid in advance (despite my insistence) for my accommodation. It was only when I was searching for my email confirmation of having paid, the lady made reference to a third-party website that I had allegedly made the reservation with. When I corrected her, she told me that the system had recorded the information wrongly. She corrected it and, at that point, agreed that I had paid.

I was also surprised by the poor English of the staff at the hotel's restaurant that serves both breakfast and dinner. But, hats off to them for maintaining patience and wanting to succeed in trying to understand me.

I had asked for a quite room and was surprised to find that I was overlooking excessively noisy Piazza Garibaldi. I’m not joking, but people are constantly pressing their car horns as late as 11pm to 2 am. Fortunately, playing music in the background helped me to sleep undisturbed.

But, in regards to the cleanliness of the room and quality of breakfast options, FANTASTIC (although the shower needs a longer screen protector to avoid the water running off the elbows and onto the bathroom floor)! I was glad to end my physically demanding 2 week trip in southern Italy with this hotel. The room was immaculate with good wifi and I was very pleased to see healthy options at breakfast. I also had dinner one night at the hotel, and that was nice as well. If I return to Naples, I would definitely look to stay here (if I can get the same rates due to my budget).

We were originally booked into a different hotel in Napoli but when we arrived it was miles from the centre and rather dingy, so we decided to cut our losses and move hotels. We were quoted quite a steep price for this hotel as we got the last room available, but when we checked-in we were told we could be upgraded to a suite - amazing and made the price we paid seem very reasonable! The room was fabulous, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good with a lot of variety - make sure you try the Naples pastries, they are delicious!. If we return to Naples we would definitely stay here again.

Quite frankly on my first visit (this one) to Napoli I put no effort into any research on hotels and picked the first one I liked the look of that was somewhat within the city centre.
As it happens this is right in the heart of it, depending on what your definition of a heart is. It's in the square of the main train station on the opposite side looking back over the station and an impressive view of Vesuvius. This is not the nicest of areas, rubbish lines the streets, the traffic honks away loudly and non stop, any nice architecture is graffitied and crumbling and the place is overcrowded. However step into the hotel UNA and you step into a beautifully modern piece of tranquility. From the friendly and helpful (they allowed me to check in a few hours early with no comment at all) people on reception to those working in the bar and restaurant on the roof terrace (definitely worth a visit, somehow seems peaceful even with the hellish traffic outside, food is good quality and not vastly overpriced) the staff were helpful to the upmost throughout.
The room was very well presented and had all the accessories that one would expect. Bathroom was modern and decorative.
Visiting worthwhile places in the city without walking for miles (as I did on my first day) is made easier by the close proximity to the train station and metro line 1 but it is a fair voyage to the worthwhile sights in Naples.
This hotel is a fantastic place to get a good nights sleep (thanks to the great mattress and fantastically soundproof windows), and a good place to access other areas, I would definitely stay here again, but I can't see a reason to stay for more than one night.

The hotel was quite nice and the staff were very friendly and spoke decent english. The room was great, but the bed was a bit stiff for us. Our room location on the front of the building was prone to lots of traffic noise.

The room is very spacious including the bathroom. Very clean and sleek. The hotel is very close to the train stations both Napoli Centrale and Porta Nolana. I love the rooftop buffet breakfast that is included! Lots of good places to eat nearby. Had a wonderful time, will stay there again next time.
