We stayed for 2 nights as part of a package (so I can't really comment on price or value for money). We expected a 4* hotel with 4* service. We had a nice-enough hotel, but not quite up to what I expect from a 4*.
The good bits.
Very centrally located, almost on Dam Square.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Clean
Our room was large, quiet, and had a large modern bathroom.
The not-quite-so-good bits.
Some of the hotel is looking tired and more than a bit dated.
The lift (singular) is small and slow, and is also used by the staff to transport supplies.
The beds and bedding also seem a bit tired. Not dirty/lumpy, just not quite as good as they should be.
The lighting in the bathroom was poor.
The staff do their best but seem overworked. One person on the front desk to check people in and out, answer the phone, answer guest queries, and deal with with walk-in enquiries. They work hard!
Breakfast is not wonderful. If you come in towards the end of the breakfast time the choice may be limited. Again overworked staff may be part of the problem.
And the slowest toaster in the world !More
