No complaints here! Spotless, pleasant and modern rooms. Nice to relax by the pool. Good variety at breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Grounds are lovely and peaceful. Wouldn't change a thing!

We chose this hotel as a convenient stopover from Rome to Camerino. However we were really impressed as it is in a lovely setting with beautiful surroundings.
We entered the restaurant with some trepidation having read other reviews but were too tired to travel elsewhere. This was a good choice! The service was excellent and our waiter gave us really good recommendations. The food was superb and would not be out of place in a high class city centre hotel. The local pasta was perfect and as it can be summed up by our children saying when we had finished the meal that they would like to start all over again.....
we'll be back.....

We stay one night in this hotel on the way to Spello, not far away from there. Its a real palace with huge modern rooms well equipped. The breakfast is typical to italian hotels, not more. A very good swimming pool. The staff needs a bit of energy...But a good place to stay.

Stayed here for one night on a recent road trip through Italy. First impressions were good with a lovely tree lined drive up to the main building. The Hotel is situated in large, well maintained grounds. So far so good. However the reception and bar area are bland and boring. Our bedroom though was modern and well appointed so no problems there. The restaurant was away from the main building in what appeared to be some barn like structure and on first impressions seem to share the same blandness as the public areas of the main building. However once seated it started to grow on us. Now for the good bit. We enjoyed one of the best meals of our whole trip here. We were served excellent food by a very attentive young lady who made the whole dining experience memorable even recommending some very reasonably priced local wine. Unfortunately breakfast does not get the same praise. In fact I would go so far as to say it was the worse breakfast we had. It had cereal and umpteen variety's of cake and buns. When we asked for eggs the answer was "we don't serve them". Also the one member of staff who occasionally appeared was totally disinterested as to the satisfaction of the guests. So in summary If it is just a stop over and you're not fussed about taking breakfast then I would recommend it but come on Delfina Palace you're letting yourself down by fuelling negative comments.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in Sept. and really enjoyed it. Our room had a huge balcony overlooking the gardens/courtyard/pool area. It was spacious with a very comfortable (and truly queen size) bed. The bathroom was top notch and there was a nice wardrobe. Coming from Rome, the size of the room & bathroom was a nice surprise. Breakfast (included) was fine with an assortment of yogurts, cereal, bread, cheese, meat, etc. We ate at the restaurant both nights and it was great. Good wine and food, very nice setting, and well-priced. We were using this as our base so it was convenient to eat at the hotel. We tried driving into Foligno for dinner once and ended up driving through the middle of town by accident, and gave up when we couldn't find any parking, etc.The pool is very nice and in a beautiful setting. It's plenty big enough. Overall, this hotel is a great value and I highly recommend it.

Room tip: Get a room with a balcony facing the garden
