Very average for the price. It was a fair walk to where everything is. The hotel is old and run down. I really did expect more at $190 a night. Do think you can do better for your money.

My partner and I stayed here over the Christmas/New Year break, 2011. It is the best quality accommodation in Cairns for the price. The apartments are spacious, with huge LCD tvs and comfortable furniture. The kitchen amenities were clean and well equipped. The balcony faced directly onto the ocean with stunning views. Sandy and Tony were fantastic hosts - very informative and honest advice about different activity packages. The pool was lovely and we also used the outside BBQ. The only downside - the bedroom was quite small. We loved our stay and highly recommend Coral Towers. Rachel and Tom.

I just spent a week at Coral Towers with some friends who were visiting. The manager Tony couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We were assisted with a reef trip booking, given the names of several reasonably-priced local restaurant and given directions many times over.
The apartment was great with a gorgeous view of the Coral Sea. Bought some groceries and had breakfast on our balcony every morning. Spent a lot of time lying by the pool and wandered into town for dinner each night. Great location and reasonably-priced. We'll be back!!!

We decided on Coral Towers as it was already highly rated by Trip Advisor reviewers and it didn't disappoint. The only gripe was the two flights of stairs to reception but this can be overcome if you use the lift at the rear of the property (we didn't know this on arrival). The apartment on the 7th floor had wonderful views of the sea and northwards from the balcony which fronted 2 sides of the property providing a relaxing early morning breakfast in the sun. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook your own food but there are ample restaurants in the town centre which is a pleasant 20 minute walk. The main bedroom was ensuite with another providing 2 single beds and a separate bathroom. A laundry room within the apartment is a bonus for long stay lets and is free of charge. The lounge is spacious with tv and internet although the wifi is chargeable to a separate internet provider and was a bit hit and miss but this is nitpicking. Sandy and Tony provide all the information you need for getting around and will arrange trips on your behalf. We have stayed in all kinds of accommodation in Australia and New Zealand and this place is near the top of the list.

Great place to stay! It's about 2km from the restaurants but it's a nice walk along the esplanade. Or else, there ate lots of taxis to help you get around. The room was great, with beautiful views of the bay. The best thing, by far, was Sandy's hospitality. She was so helpful in everything from recommending and booking a tour, to reviewing a local restaurant. I would definitely recommend Coral Towers!
