Paid 1,169 Baht for a Deluxe Double Bed. Chose a reflection room and had mirrors all over. Very cool design. The staff drove us to our room on a simple cart. Room has no window. Spacious bathroom. Wash basin is outside the bathroom. Toilet is in another room. It's like a love hotel converted from a motel/drive-in or curtain hotel. I like the design a lot. I wish I could stay in the spaceship or "The Night of 1001" room next time. Simple breakfast included in the room rate. Around the hotel I could find some local foods. I chose this hotel as I don't want to stay in the center. The room is not new but is ok to stay. The Lobby and restaurant are very bright, colorful and modern. Staff performance is good. Would stay again as I love the cool design.

My partner and I stayed in a "Reflections" room for 2 nights during Chinese New Year.
POSITIVES
- Funky design concept & different theme room design.
NEGATIVES
- Weird check in (staff could have trapped us in Reception for an hour, offering tedious and unavailable room choices, if we had not become very firm about getting to our room).
- Shower was luke warm and only a dribble at full power.
- Rolling blackouts on 2nd night.
- After blackouts, Air Conditioning & TV could not be restarted.
- Ordinary breakfast (too much "Farang food").
It is such a shame, because the hotel's design concept is so appealing. However, they do not deliver a reliable product, so should be avoided. There are so many other hotels to choose from in Chiang Mai, which I would recommend be considered first.

Great, clean, spacious room!
My boyfriend suggested we stay here and I was a bit wary thinking we may be a bit old for the themes! How wrong I was! I was also mistaken thinking that very little effort would be put into cleanliness. These rooms were probably the cleanest I have experienced in thailand!
Such a great stay. Rooms are quiet and the staff are great. They were exceptionally patient while we looked through all of our options of rooms to stay in and the lady who works in the restaurant was amazing! I wish that I had asked her name. She was so helpful and I wish I could thank her again. The food and breakfasts were amazing.
I would love to go back!
Some may find the distance from town a bit much but it's actually a very quick trip.
Keep it up Adventure Hotel!

We had a great stay and loved all the rooms. Lots of fun and a nice change from all the normal hotels. Excellent value for money. My only complaint is the location is not great if you want to do things in Old City. If you have a scooter then it's not so bad. Our other hotel, the Xym Apartments was way more central. Loved the rooms, really fun!

We stayed there twice during our trip.
The design of the hotel is modern and very special with the different theme rooms.
The first time we stayed in a reflexion room, the second time we stayed in the 'harem'. Both were spacious and clean and we enjoyed all the details and artwork. Some might find that cheesy but we kinda liked it. The rooms itself don't have windows which we found a bit strange in the beginning but it turned out we could sleep super well without daylight :-)
There's parking space for a motorbike in front of every room and table and chairs for sitting outside.

Toilet and shower (which is huge) are seperate. The bed is comfortable and a lot of TV channels are provided. Housekeeping team comes round every day to clean and change towels and provide fresh drinking water. Shuttle service to the bus station or airport is included. Same with breakfast which is a rich buffet and a mix of western and Thai style breakfast. Really good quality as well.

A special thanks we want to say to the hotel's manager. Unfortunately we don't remember his name. He was super helpful and always had advise for us. He even gave us lifts so we didn't have to wait for a taxi or helped us organising a table in a restaurant at Loi Krathong. He is a super polite guy with experience in working in European countries which you can feel immediately. Thank you so much for making our stay with you more enjoyable!!!
The lady at the frontdesk was very helpful, too. She was always there when we needed anything.

Why we didn't give 5 stars?
Not all of the staff spoke English good enough to work in a hotel (it's not expected in Thailand in general but in a hotel with international guests), e.g. I had to repeat 5 times 'watermelon shake' when calling the restaurant (and I'm not a native speaker so it might be a bit easier to understand than from a Scottish :-) ) or when we rang the reception to let them know we didn't have hot water, 2 of the staff came immediately with all possible bathroom accessories (shower gel, shower caps, toothbrush, toilet paper) but no mechanic in tow. They didn't understand at all what we were saying on the phone but said 'yes ok'.
What could've been improved is having more hanging space or a small shelf or wardrobe in the rooms, they are big enough.
Furthermore, when we arrived the second time our room was not ready at 4pm. Reception gave us the keys and we found the room to be not ready for our arrival. Not a big deal for us, we just waited while it got cleaned but it wasn't that perfect to give 5 stars.

We would definitely stay again and can recommend the Adventure Hotel!
