As a first-time solo traveler/Israel tourist, this was the wrong hotel for me. I stayed one night and then switched hotels. If you are looking for a hotel that is low cost, clean, no frills, just a place to sleep, then this might be a good choice for you. I left before the included breakfast, so can't comment. More details:
Pros:
* Price
* Clean
* Elevator (small)
* Short walk to Herod's Gate and Damascus Gate. Reasonable walk to Jaffa Gate.
Cons:
* WIFI didn't work in room. I tried both my phone and my laptop.
* Hidden neighborhood that was confusing to navigate and didn't have many restaurant choices nearby.
* Loud street noise - cars beeping their horns. Was better late at night and early AM.
* Small, simple, worn room and bathroom - not appealing for spending time while relaxing between tourist activities.
* Nitpick...Although I'm pretty techy, I couldn't figure out the TV (onscreen menus not in English) and didn't feel like asking the front desk for help again.
