Spent just 1 night here after finishing our Croatia sailing trip. Our Katarina representative called the manager Tanja (who had been in touch with me via email prior to our stay) and asked if she could meet us at the port and walk us back to the apartment (we had no idea where we were going and didn't have a map). Tanja happily met us and helped us with our bags for the 10 minute walk from the port which was greatly appreciated. She also gave us a bit of an overview of the area and some recommendations on restaurants.

The apartments are set back from the Riva (main promenade) which is good because they were not noisy at all, even when they had a massive music festival there. Ours was a little studio on the top floor (5th I think). Bit of a hike up the stairs, but the room was lovely and air conditioned. Only a very small room, but with a double bed, couch, kitchenette and dining table. Everything was very modern and Tanja ensured there was plenty of coffee, tea and even cold water in the fridge for us!

Wifi worked perfectly and there were plenty of places to eat in the area. Alternatively there is a big supermarket about a 2 minute walk with plenty of options if you want to cook.

Tanja also located a laundromat for us and we were able to drop off our washing and pick it up the following morning all done for us (this was much cheaper than the other laundromat we had used previously and nowhere near as busy).

All in all, a great stay and we would be happy to return there again.

A very nice one bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of a building overlooking the Split rugby pitch, it is a bit of a walk to get up the four flights of stairs but there is a decorated chair on one of the landings for a rest. Once in the apartment it is well worth the effort, as it is filled with every electrical aid you need for an enjoyable stay. And it is large and airy with partly bear stone walls; the furnishings are classic Croatian that blends in with the surroundings. There are three supermarkets within easy walking distance, but if you do not feel like cooking there are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as cafe bars in abundance. While there I noticed that there will be a cheese and wine bar opening in the same building, the apartment sits behind the Split theatre that puts on some good shows including Opera, Ballet, classical music and plays. It is in a central position and within easy walk to all of Splits attractions, at the bottom of the road is one of the main bus stops for getting round other parts of the area. To use the bus service you can buy a ticket at a kiosk or pay extra on the bus a normal zone one ticket lasts 45 minutes so you can jump on and off buses in that time, there is also a taxi rank there as well. Up the top of the road at the left hand side of the building, is a large park called the Marjan which has some nice walks and even a small zoo? From the park there are some good views with good photo opportunities, it is a place I will put on my list to return as the apartment is clean to the point of being spotless.

Room tip: There is a studio apartment next door which has a connecting door, which is handy if you have family with you
