Just returned from a glorious ten days at Nakia. On arrival we were blown away by the actual location. The resort is up on a small ridge with 270 degree views of the sea below. From the moment we arrived Jim and Robin made every effort to make our stay comfortable. This is not you're usual plastic, fantastic resort with generic rooms and 'have a nice day' trained staff - Nakia is the real deal. It's small - just 4 bures. Jim and Robin said from the start we want you to feel at home and and by the time we left we felt like it was 'our' holiday home except our meals were being cooked for us and our rooms were cleaned beautifully every day. The food was delicious and compared to what's on offer at other Fijian resorts - out of this world. Robin also cooked any special meals we requested and made wonderful baby food for my 9 month old. We spent most of our holiday splashing with the kids by the pool, lying around on hammocks reading books, eating great food, snorkeling at the beach below,...More
