unique style of facilities with a strong ethos of South Africa, staff extremely helpful and efficient in advising and organising trips for us, great situation within walking distance of Long street. A wonderful base to explore Cape Town

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights during a tour of Western Cape. The Staff and service were first class. The room was very well appointed and a good size (even though amongst the cheapest). The location is great if you want to avoid the 'obvious' waterfront area, albeit only a 20-30 minute stroll away, and get a bit of real Cape Town. The hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants and very close to Long Street. Don't miss the bijou roof terrace with hot tub!

The Cape Heritage Hotel is a home in Cape Town with coziness, along with a distinctive sense of the beauty that is embedded with its unique heritage. Each room has the customized inertia design, and the relaxing rooms in the lobby and corridors are both beautifully decollated.

All staff members are efficient but still personable. Bamford Kaunda, for instance, has the excellent people skills but later, I found the similar high quality in other staff members as well. Being based in the unique interior design (hard side), the hotel employees or people (soft side) help to contribute to create such a mesmerizing place in the middle of the City.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We spent three nights there in a standard room - much better than any standard room we've stayed in before! The whole hotel is delightful and the staff are amazing - they looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble. They really made us feel like VIPs. I would visit there again at the drop of a hat! It is also in an area where there are great restaurants and near to the main shopping streets..

Very nice, friendly, boutique hotel in centre of town. In the old "Heritage Sq". 4*, but could easily have been 5*.

We were sadly there only for 1 night, but would recommend, and those not wishing for the rather frantivc V&A stuff should check it out.

Room tip: Overlooking the Square itself.
