My daughter and I chose this inn because of the wonderful reviews. We were not disappointed. Jim is--in a word-- great. He worked with us from the initial reservation through several changes and was always ready with a smile, information about the area, or plain old good conversation. The inn itself is lovely and welcoming, with beautiful views from every window and porch areas that seem to invite you to "take your shoes off" and "sit a spell"... Breakfast was a delight--every course!! We will miss so many things about this mountaintop refuge. And. of course, we can't forget to mention that we will greatly miss Gracie's soft steps and patient gaze. She even came to bid us farewell the early morn we departed--as we were gathering up the bags containing the fresh fruit and baked goods that Jim had so thoughtfully left for us. We believe she is the most dignified little Schnauzer we've ever met!More
