If you are a smoker, you are out of luck. Prepare to stink. Security was unhelpful; I would not go back here personally. There are plenty of table games but the dealers aren't very engaging, management and pretty much everyone employed there will stare you down without offering anything insightful. Sub par experience.

Room tip: The view sucks if you're placed on the backside. I had a "view" or a parking lot and hvac units on the roof. Very nice!!!! (Sarcasm)

Staying here was the most surreal experience that I've had in ages. There was a tornado warning and they evacuated the hotel into the lobby. So what does the hotel do with the people like us trying to check in? The hotel refuses to allow us to enter into the premises and forces my 14 year old and his freind along with business associate to stay outside. What a risk management issue.

In addition the front desk staff leaves and their is a parade of angry people trying to check in, check out and get service. Watching the horde of people trying to leave the hotel while others trying to get in along with the utter lack direction from the hotel staff just blew my mind.

All in all it was not a good start to my stay. Now the room was nice and large, it was clean and comfortable. However, try and get something to eat after 10pm the bar was the only option. It took forever to get served. The food was passable.

Now, after a frustrating check inane meal I ask for a late check out. The answer was "no".

Capri, nice place never stay here again.

The casino is great. It's not a huge casino by any means, but it is very very nice and well taken care of. They have all the same table games you get at any other Iowa casino and many slots. The poker room is gorgeous! I played on several nights during my stay and loved it.

The hotel rooms are extremely clean and well taken care of. The bed is extremely comfortable and I had no trouble falling asleep. Overall I think this is one of the nicest casino properties in the state of Iowa.

A very nice hotel with large rooms and comfortable furniture. If you want to go downstairs there is a casino for entertainment. We have found that we enjoy staying in hotel/casinos because usually the rooms are nice and reasonably priced. Our room here was $90.00 for a king.

I have stayed here probably at least 20 times on business in the last year. Rooms are clean and nice and quite. The only down side to the place is the smoke smell when you first walk in the front door. The staff is average at best, the one time i have eaten at the buffet was enough not to go back. Otis and Henry's is a decent restaurant and the small restaurant in the lobby is good for a quick bite. Overall the room rates can't be beat in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area.

Room tip: Stay out of room 912 it's very loud and shakes the ceiling fan and light fixtures.
