I booked 3 rooms to come up for a friends wedding on Aug 31. I called 2 weeks prior to coming to request an early check in, so we could get ready at the hotel for the wedding, I was told they did not offer early check in but to call that day. I called around 11:30 & was told the rooms were not ready, to try back at 12:30. I called again @ 1:00 the 3 rooms were not ready, but a friend who booked separately (and did not ask for early check in) her room was ready. At 2:00 we went to the desk still not ready, 3:00 (check in time) still not ready, 3:30 2 of the 3 rooms were ready, 4:00 (heading out the door for the wedding) 3rd room still not ready! The room was ready when we returned at 9:30. The woman at the desk was more then pleasant, even @ 4:00 with my husband getting slightly aggravated. The rooms were nice enough, bathrooms could use updating. Now, on Sept 5th I get a call from one of the others who stayed to tell me that although a charge had been pending on her cc it was now gone and when she called the Inn they told her it had been charged to the card used to hold the rooms. All 3 rooms were paid for separately at check in, yet my card ultimately was charged for all 3 rooms. Two weeks ago I emailed the Inn to let them now about the problems with check in and still have not heard back from them.
