The Best Extended Hotel I've ever stayed at because of The Superb service we receive from "TEA". She greets everyone professionally and she really cares, it shows. I'm a long term guest and TEA always makes me feel welcome. Now, as filling out this review I noticed a recent bad review and I have to make a comment pertaining to the review. I believe that when we do make reviews we have to be forthright. My AC unit is ALWAYS BLOWING COLD, THEY JUST SERVICED the AC approximately 3 weeks ago. (NOTE: THE AC WAS WORKING VERY GOOD AT THE TIME THEY SERVICED IT). A professional company was hired and did an excellent Job. I watched them personally I work from home and I call this (extended Stay) home for now. I take plenty of showers and baths at all times of the day and NOT ONCE has my water been cold, NOT ONE TIME. The water is extremely hot and you have to add a little cold water to make it just right. ALL hotels close their pools after LABOR DAY, this is a known fact...Just call around. Also apartment complex close their pools for the winter too. Now concerning the muffins the muffins are set up on the table to the side of the wall. The hotel provides the muffins for all the guests to freely take. The Grab and Go is available until 9:30 A.M. If the muffins were gone all you had to do is ask for it at the counter which is 1-2 feet away ( I did it and they replenished the muffin stand)They would have gladly replenished it for you. It is unreasonable to expect that the front desk could monitor muffins every second especially if they are helping other customers with check-ins, check-outs among other things. People who travel need honest reviews to determine whether they want to stay at hotels. I just got back from a 2 day stay at Extended Stay- Miami, FL. (Oct 17-19, 2014) Extended Stay is an excellent Brand and I had a great stay there too. I could not wait to get back to my home (Extended Stay- 4610 South Miami Boulevard, Durham, NC 27703).

As I stated I received exceptional service...during your visit ask for TEA pronounced TIA, What we need is more TEA providing customers service training and how to make people feel at home. The front desk is friendly, hats off to ALL of them. The manager is Temesha Lott who is the most professional manager I've seen at many hotels. It's interesting to see that the "Bad Reviewer" did not ask to speak to the manager and there is no comment stating so. If the service was all bad with no hot water why didn’t you call down to the front desk? Come on people let’s not mess up the review process, traveler count on the facts to make important decisions on where to stay when they travel. To The staff: Continue doing the exceptional Job you do...you are well appreciated.

I arrived with my daughter. Nobody was at the front desk. We had to call by phone for someone to show up. AC was not working properly. Pool was closed. The smell of curry was disgusting. We were not able to sleep at night because of noises and people yelling upstairs. My daughter could not finish taking a shower because the water was suddenly cold! In the morning at 9 am there were not more muffins and coffee was warm. I felt like sleeping in the care was probably better and safer.

One of the better hotels I have stay in when I travel.the staff was very nice.they know how to treat there customer. There rooms made me feel like I was home away from home. The staff members will make u feel real comfortable

I have been a guest here at this property for 4 months now and clearly the negative reviews for this property are not warranted. The front desk staff are a wonderful group of people who actually do their jobs and the hotel manager goes out of her way to resolve any issues in a timely manner which I have personally witnessed. This property does exactly what it says it does which is to provide a safe and clean hotel which is reflected in my continued stay and the stay of many international employees who work in the area as their international companies such as IBM, Xerox, and others continue to place them at this hotel without any complaints from these employees who expect and receive a great experience as the reason I continue to stay here.

I've stayed at most of the Extended Stay located in Durham, NC. I have to say that the Extended Stay located at 4610 S. Miami Blvd is the best. I would recommend this hotel anyone of my family members and refer this location to my co-workers. The staff there are very professional,and the manager at this location juggle many of hats,when she's short on staff she jumps right in as a Housekeeper,maintenance worker and I've witnessed that. The staff make you feel like family and they go out there way to accommodate all there guest. This is one of the best hotel suites in Durham that is very clean and quiet. Most important the Grab and Go breakfast bar have the freshest coffee and muffins I have to say and it helps me save my money so I don't have to go to Starbucks. The WiFi is free and it is fantastic and that's very hard to find.

Room tip: I can say that I've visited this location and won't go anywhere else and each floor is the same.
