My husband I just returned from a lovely weekend at the Wildberry Lodge. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful bed and breakfast.

Glenda and Ken are terrific hosts. Warm, welcoming, caring. The lodge is beautiful and the attention to detail in the decor and amenities is top notch.

As we arrived Friday night after driving those windy mountain through the rain in a torrential down pour, Glenda and Ken calmed out nerves with a little vino and a snack. It was most welcome and appreciated. We stayed in the Blackberry Suite with all the comforts of home and a spectacular view to wake up to.

Breakfast was delicious as Glenda really goes all out. Top it off with really nice other couples staying at the lodge, a wonderful view from the porch and a great cup of joe...and the morning could not be beat!

The drive to Asheville was quick and easy.

You need not think of staying elsewhere - this is the place to be!

My husband and I stayed for two nights in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful find. Picturesque mountain view, very relaxing atmosphere and Ken and Glenda couldn't be more gracious hosts. They perfectly straddle the fine line between being always available and not interfering with a couple's personal time and also offer helpful advice for restaurants, driving routes or other queries. The hand-hewn logs throughout contribute a rustic atmosphere yet every comfort is available including the fantastic gourmet breakfasts served on the screened-in porch. Can't wait to return.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in middle of the week. Ken and Glenda have created a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the mountain views. Breakfast each day was great and Ken had some really good advice for our day trips. Cant wait to get back for the seasonal fall colors and to see Sassy, Cosmo, Chloe and Jenny!

Room tip: If available, the "Gooseberry" room offer the best views with private balcony overlooking the valley.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days with the living social voucher mid week while we explored the Asheville area. We had a wonderful time and would stay again without a doubt. The property is beautiful and amid the smoky mountains in NC, so picturesque. We stayed in the strawberry room and loved it, with a tub and private balcony and an end room on the top floor, couldn't hear a peep the entire time. The lodge has a Huge living space you can enjoy with a large deck where you can sit, read, and enjoy the view of the mountains, as well as the goats and cows :). If you're lucky you can visit the animals during feeding time in the morning. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the owners are somewhat flexible regarding when you want to have breakfast, not one standard time. All in all we had a terrific time and feel that Ken and Glenda did not overlook one detail in providing guests a relaxing stay in the Asheville area. This is a great place to stay if you want a more remote, relaxing stay about a 20 minute drive from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore which is exactly what we wanted.
