If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, look no further. This hotel is priced a little higher than other hotels (if you are looking for expansive suites) in the area, but I feel that it is worth it. They have a wonderful heated indoor and outdoor pool area. Both pools range from 2 or 3 feet all the way up to 9 or 10 feet deep with lifeguards present in both pool areas. There are rest rooms outside for the outdoor pool area with pool attendants that offer food and drinks for purchase from Garfield's (the hotel's restaurant). There is also a splash/ water area for small children separate from the larger outdoor pool to keep them safe while still having fun! There is a hot tub in the indoor pool area that is very nice too. The staff are very pleasant and kind. The courtyard banquet room is just beautiful as is the lobby. Well decorated with an upscale feel. Within a 10 minute drive to the popular outlets on Route 30 along with numerous restaurant choices on Route 30 as well. This hotel is about 30-40 minutes to Hershey Park and 10 minutes to Dutch Wonderland. There is a Sheetz convenience/gas station right next door and a Carabba's Italian restaurant can be seen from the hotel's parking lot. Hotel parking is free. We traveled with 2 adults and 2 children and stayed in room 381. This room had a King size bed in 1 room and 2 double or queen beds in a separate room. There was one bathroom between the two rooms to share. The shower/tub and toilet were in one room and the double sink, vanity, and mini fridge were outside of the tub/toilet area. So, ladies, you do not have to worry about the vanity area being steamed up from the shower! There was a hair dryer, iron /board, and make-up mirror present. They provide Bath and Body Works shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. This is a perfect room for a family of four because it gives parents and children their own privacy after a long day touring Amish country or the parks. Plus, each room has it's own satellite TV. With taxes and fees included, we paid $171 per night, which wasn't bad. There is no free breakfast in this hotel, but they have a breakfast buffet which is about $10 or $12 per adult, plus a menu offering choices other than buffet style. They also serve lunch and dinner as well for additional purchase. We believe that we have found our new "go to" place when traveling with our children to Lancaster area. Please do not hesitate to choose this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Of course, there are always those who can't be pleased no matter what. I am very picky about where I stay with my family and I love this place. It is clean and in a safe area. Oh, and they even offer you a choice of pillows when you turn in for the night. There is a card on the night stand in the room, next to the bed, offering you the choice of soft, down pillows, hypoallergenic pillows, and buckwheat pillows. You just call the front desk, tell them which one you would like to try and they will bring it to your room (based on availability). Plus, it is free. What a nice touch! You can try new ones each night or find the one that you like and sign it out for your entire stay. Happy traveling and I hope that you enjoy this property as much as my family did!
