This is a beautiful Hotel. It is very family friendly. It has two wonderful pools indoor and outdoor. Very nice staff. Very close to many attractions including Amish country, Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland.

I stayed here July 23 till the 28th. The day I checked in I had driven 7 hrs and hit a bad storm too. When I had arrived, I only wanted to get to my room and order room service. It was 8:15 and I called Garfield's. I was told they no longer were accepting room service orders because they were really busy. She did suggest that I could call back a bit later and try again which then she told me they were open till 10. I did not call back. For my long journey, I ate some chocolates they give you when you arrive and some almonds I had brought with me.
NOW TO THE GOOD REVIEW. That was my only negative word about the place. The staff were friendly. The place was exceptionally clean I thought. Even to the pool! I was sitting along side of the pool when the lifeguard was instructing a fellow worker who was in the pool where to fish out the little things floating in the water. I don't like things like bugs etc. floating either, but these were very little. That was very impressive. I stayed in a 2 room suite with a balcony over looking the pool. Just what I had "ordered" back in April. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom supplies (soap, shampoo, conditioner) were Bath & Body products. Plenty of plugs and things for all my electronics. The first night I heard kids running in the hall, but it was during safe hours, after that I never heard noises or even the people next door to me. I will note, that there was another woman who spoke to my husband one morning who said she could not sleep due to the kids in the hall and noises from the other rooms. I cannot say that.
I was sort of embarrassed to say I was at a Best Western because this was so much more than a typical Best Western. I think it demonstrated the word "resort" very well compared to others who use the word loosely. Great pool! The place was jammin every day. Something I don't usually see at other places.(not counting Disney or Universal etc) There is a section for young kids, like a little water playground. They have bar/food service. I have a complaint of sort, but it's nothing to do with me. It has to do with the poor waitresses. Everytime a person places their order, the waitress has a very very long road ahead of her to the where she places the orders and picks up and then delivers. It is really wrong. That's not fair to them and it's a waste of time for everyone. They should consider making an outdoor bar. While lounging, I picked up my drink only to spill it on the ground. What a mess. Mango daquiri with whip cream all over the place. They were on that quicker than a fly. Washed down everything and our waitress brought me a new drink at no charge!
Ok, one more little complaint....or suggestion. During my stay there was a wedding going on. (very nice room for one) and since that, it was impossible to find a parking place. I had to park quite a ways away at a convenience store. I think they should have an area for functions or make one. NO ONE wants to come back at night and have a hike on their hands.
I'm not sure the hours, but I was disappointed returning at 11:30pm to find that the lounge had already closed and been locked up.
This place, besides my little quirks mentioned, really loved the place and would highly recommend it. Except, if you don't like going where there are many families and kids, then you may not like it.
OH, and even though my room was over looking the pool, again, I cannot complain about any noise level. My room was very sound proof I think.
I have never ever seen this, but the remotes were in a material sleeve saying they had been disinfected.

Room tip: Pool side. Any floor is ok based on what you like. I liked higher up for viewing. Also the balconies are covered if you are on the second floor but if it rains, you do get the run off from above. Room 229 was perfect for me. 2 room suite w/ king and the location was perfect because it was right next to the elevator and diagonal from the ice.

If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, look no further. This hotel is priced a little higher than other hotels (if you are looking for expansive suites) in the area, but I feel that it is worth it. They have a wonderful heated indoor and outdoor pool area. Both pools range from 2 or 3 feet all the way up to 9 or 10 feet deep with lifeguards present in both pool areas. There are rest rooms outside for the outdoor pool area with pool attendants that offer food and drinks for purchase from Garfield's (the hotel's restaurant). There is also a splash/ water area for small children separate from the larger outdoor pool to keep them safe while still having fun! There is a hot tub in the indoor pool area that is very nice too. The staff are very pleasant and kind. The courtyard banquet room is just beautiful as is the lobby. Well decorated with an upscale feel. Within a 10 minute drive to the popular outlets on Route 30 along with numerous restaurant choices on Route 30 as well. This hotel is about 30-40 minutes to Hershey Park and 10 minutes to Dutch Wonderland. There is a Sheetz convenience/gas station right next door and a Carabba's Italian restaurant can be seen from the hotel's parking lot. Hotel parking is free. We traveled with 2 adults and 2 children and stayed in room 381. This room had a King size bed in 1 room and 2 double or queen beds in a separate room. There was one bathroom between the two rooms to share. The shower/tub and toilet were in one room and the double sink, vanity, and mini fridge were outside of the tub/toilet area. So, ladies, you do not have to worry about the vanity area being steamed up from the shower! There was a hair dryer, iron /board, and make-up mirror present. They provide Bath and Body Works shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. This is a perfect room for a family of four because it gives parents and children their own privacy after a long day touring Amish country or the parks. Plus, each room has it's own satellite TV. With taxes and fees included, we paid $171 per night, which wasn't bad. There is no free breakfast in this hotel, but they have a breakfast buffet which is about $10 or $12 per adult, plus a menu offering choices other than buffet style. They also serve lunch and dinner as well for additional purchase. We believe that we have found our new "go to" place when traveling with our children to Lancaster area. Please do not hesitate to choose this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Of course, there are always those who can't be pleased no matter what. I am very picky about where I stay with my family and I love this place. It is clean and in a safe area. Oh, and they even offer you a choice of pillows when you turn in for the night. There is a card on the night stand in the room, next to the bed, offering you the choice of soft, down pillows, hypoallergenic pillows, and buckwheat pillows. You just call the front desk, tell them which one you would like to try and they will bring it to your room (based on availability). Plus, it is free. What a nice touch! You can try new ones each night or find the one that you like and sign it out for your entire stay. Happy traveling and I hope that you enjoy this property as much as my family did!

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Our 5 year old daughter absolutely loved the splash zone kids area and both pools. You can even order food and drinks and they will deliver it poolside. The restaurants are decent, the breakfast buffet at Arthur's was delicious, but a little pricey. I do not recommend getting a room near the indoor pool. Our door leading out to the pool was blocked by people in chairs every night. We actually had to push a lounge chair with the door to be able to get out of our room. We couldn't even sit out by the pool near our own room. The walls are super thin and every morning around 6 we had to listen to a screaming child for 2 hours while our children tried to sleep. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay here again when in the area. It's about a 10-15 minute drive to Dutch Wonderland.

We were thrilled with our room. It was large, comfortable, and decorated nicely. The pool was lovely, and the breakfast buffet at Arthur's was delicious! The only thing we did not enjoy quite as much was our dinner at Garfield's. However, that would not prevent us from staying at this wonderful hotel in the future.
