My wife and I had a great time at the Iris Inn. We have already booked for next year. This was our first time there and it was a pleasant surprise. The Inn is in good shape with all the modern amenities. Heidi and Dave and the staff were engaging without being obtrusive. I wasn't sure about the buffet breakfast - but it was great given our different eating tastes and quantities. Looking forward to seeing the new cabin project when it is done. Enjoy your trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Iris Inn. Dave and Heidi made us feel like we were at home and everything was amazing. The hospitality, accommodations and food were top notch. We are already planning at trip back. Thanks so much for a wonderful anniversary weekend!

My husband and I stayed at The Iris Inn for three nights in October as part of our 'whistle stop' tour of Virginia. This was our very first experience of staying in B&B accommodation as we usually stay in houses when we visit the USA. I am delighted to say that our stay was just about perfect (apart from the weather - one day was completely washed out by rain!). We stayed in The Woodland Room (as we like 'critters') which was fantastic, The breakfasts were amazing and we were even introduced to 'grits' - something we had managed to avoid in the past (!) but Heidi's version was rather nice. Heidi and Dave (and Katie of course) we the perfect hosts and we would certainly re-visit if we were fortunate enough to be in the area again.

We celebrated my husband's birthday in early November, and could not have been more pleased with the Iris Inn! We stayed in the Garden Path suite, it was very clean and spacious. The breakfasts were delicous, and owners Heidi and Dave were very welcoming with their southern charm! We would highly recommend and would love to return. Joe and Lori

From the innkeepers to the food to the accommodations to the wonderful canine companionship, this could not have been a better experience! I wanted to move in! Still do. :)
