My inlaws paid and planned out our honeymoon (which was a very thoughtful and appreciated gift which we will always cherish and brag about LOL) We had no idea what we were in for considering we had never been to long beach, but trusted them and knew we'd make the best out of it no matter how bad it was. (we've had a really bad expeience with hotels in the past.... like blood on the carpet and dresser and what looked like bullet holes in the wall behind said dresser) When we got there we were amazed! they put rose petals on the bed, box of chocolates, candles, and a bottle of champagne in our fridge. We felt so pampered =) It's truely a unique place and we loved every minute of it. Especially when housekeeping brought freshly baked warm scones, fresh fruit, yogurt, and organic juice to our room each morning. =) We stayed in the beach house suite for 5 days and I highly reccomend this room to everyone. We LOVED the Inn at Discovery and are planning on going back for our babymoon in may. If you stay in long beach make sure you try horseback riding on the beach and 42nd street cafe (don't be fooled by the name. It's a very nice resturaunt so no sweat pants. lol) You won't be sorry!More
