On our way back to from a boat tour we saw a sign off the highway and pulled in. This was a perfect stop to regroup and get some coffee. The property is divided up into three parts, the gift shop, the coffee shop and the grounds.
The gift shop was kinda cool and you can buy some unique items here including vintage coffee sacks. The shop also has T-shirts, mugs and much of the expected swag.
The coffee shop was fantastic with outdoor seating, a video going about the property and great tasting coffee. Clean bathrooms and friendly service stood out.
The grounds were made up of several pathways with signs intended for a self guided tour. Most of what is left here in not used I dont think. It seems the operation has grown and a lot of the actual work is done elsewhere. Even so, its a great insight into the humble beginnings of the company and worth a short stroll to take it all in.
Overall the place was clean, well organized and a welcome stop along the way. We will for sure return to this place in future. This is probably more of a quick stop to look around and wander for a bit rather than a destination. I wouldn't miss it if you like coffee though.
