Good place to stretch your legs and grab some macadamia nuts and coffee while driving around the island. Best part you get to try them before you but them. They have some souvenirs and a tour. You have to be paying attention or you will drive right by it. Watch out for the tour buses cuz it can get kinda busy. I like the coffee glazed and my ol man likes the cinnamon glazed.

Our tour guide Junior was so funny and knowledgeable. The tour starts with a ride on a small bus through farm crop plantings to a staging area where there is a fire starting demonstration, a fire dance, coconut cracking, an opportunity to taste fresh grated coconut. Back on the bus to the fish pond, then into a boat for a quick ride across the pond. Junior pointed out the sites where several movies and TV shows have been filmed. Banana samples at the end of the tour. In the store there are free samples of all the flavors of macadamia nuts and free coffee. Outside the store are some logs and rocks where you can try cracking some mac nuts.

I was not expecting great entertainment on this tour. Tour guide greeted us and he was extremely cheerful throughout the entire tour. It was a lot more than just macadamia nuts. It was entertaining as well as educational.....about the Polynesian culture.

Beautiful, historic setting coupled with a knowledgeable tour guide (Hawaiian Warrior) that possesses great comedic dialogue and timing made this one of the highlights of our trip. Well worth the time and money.

Awesome tour and a great marketplace. Free coffee, and other great samples that you could spend all day trying. Try a fresh coconut, and take the tour. Some of the local stuff can be found at the Aloha swap meet cheaper, but you will have to find it and the swap meet is only on Wednesday and Sunday. So enjoy a bit of local Hawaii, away from the touristy beaches and overpriced shops of Waikiki.
