Super clean, very quiet, staff extremely helpful especially Nicole who is a real asset. Location was great easy to find, handy for the freeway but far enough away to avoid any noise.Excellent shopping and restaurants just over the road. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the San Diego area.

Stayed for eight nights and liked it very much. This hotel is not a hotel in the conventional sense of the word, but kind of apartments. The room is equipped with refrigerator, big oven and dish washer, so you can cook your own meals. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good. On the ground floor there is a laundry room and a gym, both for free - useful benefit. Gum consists of two treadmills, one fitness bench and a big number of weighs and dumbbells. I used it almost every day. Small pool is located in the backyard but it is really small and unroofed, useful only during summer months. Free Wi-Fi of course, and I was surprised by good quality of connection. The hotel is located next to huge shopping area where you really can find anything you need either from basic grocery to winter sports equipment, or from cafe to fancy restaurant.
The only thing I may complain is poor acoustic isolation between the rooms - every morning I've heard the showers in adjacent rooms.
Rooms are pretty simple and standard, price is reasonable. Bottom line, if you are looking for place to stay around - more then recommended.

Room tip: Over breakfast recommend to use disposable cutlery - usually it is more cleanly then regular one.

FREE LAUNDRY, great access to nearby clothing chains, big box stores and restaurants, good breakfast, superb staff. This is a great place to regroup in the middle of a long family trip. I can't say enough about the staff, each person handled us with personal, down-to-earth attention. I felt well taken care of, like I was with family. We stayed several days and returned again at a later part of our trip. On the second trip, we were upgraded but the room smelled funny (like bugspray) so they immediately relocated us to another room which-according to my daughter- smelled like yummy cookies (vanilla). So speaking from several nights stay and a repeat visit within weeks, I give it two thumbs up for surpassing our expectations.

Room tip: Ground floor elevator is a little 'unique' so I recommend a lower floor near the stairs or on the ground floor.

This place is great for parents! They have free breakfast (decent food + on the go bags you pack yourself), free laundry (BYO Soap), free parking (always park on the side your room is on, so you have a view of your vehicle at night), free Wi-Fi, warmed pool, small basketball court, BBQ grills, small gym, and an all-day coffee station in the lobby. (BTW there is a flat screen in your room + 2 very small flat screens in the reception area where you’d eat breakfast. This is great for children, keeps them entertained while you eat)

The rooms are spacious (I stayed in a standard room 2 adults and a child) and they all have a sleeper couch. (There is additional bedding for this in the closet but once you pull out the bed the roomy space goes bye-bye)

In the kitchen you get a regular size fridge, a small stove with pots and pans, plates, mugs, glasses, silverware, coffee pot and complimentary coffee supplies plus a dishwasher with supplies to run it.

The bathrooms are great! The sink is just outside the actual toilet and bathtub area (There is a door, of course) so if you need to do a night or morning ritual on your face you can, without getting in anyone's way. You'll have your space and the person in the bathroom has their privacy.

Most of the staff I had contact with were young people. They were super helpful and welcoming. The cleaning staff was decent. (I didn’t mind that certain things were left undone because I wasn’t in the room all day and I have a small child that would mess it up anyway.) I’ve been to places with way better maid service than this place. The young staff can work on this one. ; -) It’s the little things that go a long way with people.

The proximity to restaurants, big box stores and gas stations was very good. All less than a 10 minute drive away. (There is a Costco and a Claim Jumpers restaurant -plus other shops- less than 5 minutes away - you could walk)

The experience at this place overall was great, I’m very pleased! I will definitely be going back.

I've stayed at numerous Staybridges and this one was slightly better than the average. The room I got was a studio and it was pretty nice and new looking, although the décor looked a little bit late 80's. The bed was quite comfortable although the pillows were terrible. The shower was dated but had a very good shower head. The TV was a large new flatscreen, at least 40". The full kitchen was great to have, especially the full size fridge. The toaster in the room did not work. The pool was decent and there was a nice fire pit area next to it along with a grilling area too. The breakfast was okay but nothing to rave about and the one evening meal we were there for was also half decent but not great. The free beer and wine though were great! The staff was also generally friendly and helpful.

The only real complaint I had was that the waffle maker at breakfast was not working correctly and according to other guests I spoke to, it hadn't been working for several days at least. The staff seemed content to just let it continue sitting there day after day not working right allowing each customer to discover this fact for themselves after spending 10 minutes unsuccessfully trying to make a waffle. I think its time to either replace it or at least remove it until it is repaired.

So in the end I was happy with this hotel and would stay here again.
