We're from Tulsa, about 100 miles from Tulsa. We had the occasion to come to Sulphur to visit the veterans at the Oklahoma Veterans Center here and play bingo with the (great fun!), and needed a place to stay for the night.
The choices in Sulphur are next to non-existent. You can stay at the casino in town for over $200 a night, or the Super 8 for about $75. That makes the Super 8 an easy choice.
But just because it was cheap did not make it a poor choice. The rooms were clean, the linens were clean, ice in the ice-maker, the AC worked, TV worked, all the things you'd expect. And we had free WiFi and a reasonable free breakfast the next morning. (Two cereals, waffle maker, muffins, real orange juice, milk.)
All in all a good value for the money. I'd definitely recommend this to friends who need a place to stay.More
