I can’t say enough GREAT things about the Williams House! My wife and I traveled to Hot Springs for the weekend to relax and rejuvenate. The Williams House is THE place to do it! Lynda and her husband made it a perfect weekend.
Location: We drove around and looked at all the other B&B’s in the area and Williams House IMO is the best location. Just located 3 blocks SW of downtown shopping and restaurants and on the base of the West Mountain and hiking trails. We took a 5 minute drive up the mountain and there are some great trails overlooking Hot Springs. If it were a little warmer, since we visited in February, we would have walked to Central to the shops and restaurants and will do so when we visit again this summer.
Inn: This inn is beautiful and much larger than I had expected. This was my wife and I’s first B&B experience as a couple and we both agreed this is the best one we have ever stayed at. The interior is very welcoming. Lynda graciously took my wife around the inn and showed her all the original fixtures and told her stories of how it all had arrived. My wife being an interior designer ate it all up! The wrap around porch and veranda were very comfortable and relaxing.

Room: We stayed in the West Chamber. This is located on the second floor just off a central seating area in the middle of the floor. The room was perfect! Large and cozy. The room was a great large size and the tall ceilings made the space seem even larger. The bed and sheets were extremely comfortable!! The Jacuzzi tub was very romantic and had bath salts and candles for you to use. It was not weird at all having the Jacuzzi in the room as I have read in some reviews, it reminded us of our Honeymoon! The TV is on a swivel so you can relax in the tub and watch some television. The coat closet had a mini fridge stocked with water, coffee maker, and teas. We checked out the suite on the first floor, and the turret suite, and we both agreed the West Chamber was our favorite! Go to their website and look at pictures, they are exact representations of what you will get in person.
Breakfast/food: This is our favorite part! The first morning we had breakfast quiche and fruit. We loved the seating, it is not a traditional bed and breakfast where every guest sits at a central table. Each couple/family gets their own table but are all seated in the same room so we still had great convo’s with other guests around us. The second morning we had coconut pecan pancakes (ah-mazing), bacon, and fruit. I do believe bananas were incorporated into the pancakes! The staff always checked to see if the food was enough and was happy to give more! The coffee was the perfect taste and warmth, it’s the little things like coffee that sets the Williams House apart! In a separate room there were snacks out 24/7 for you to enjoy, fudge, brownies, and cookies (the ginger cookies were my fav!). Wine/champagne glasses were available and corkscrews in your room to enjoy if you purchase their wine or bring your own.
We had such a wonderful weekend at the Williams House and Hot Springs. Lynda offered us ideas of what to do and what to eat and were all amazing suggestions. My wife and I cannot wait to go back to visit!! This will quickly rise to the #1 B&B in Hot Springs on TripAdvisor and should already be!More
