My husband and I have stayed at many hotels and casinos in Vicksburg and must say this is the most disappointing stay we have had. Since it was his birthday we decided to stay at this hotel. When we checked in there was only one teller and it took over 30 minutes with a line to get checked in. Once we went to our room the key didn't work. Instead of giving us another room they sent maintenance to fix the problem (while we waited in the hallway). After 20 minutes maintenance reported he couldn't fix it so they gave us another room. Guess what? That key didn't work. Meanwhile I told the staff that we couldn't stand waiting in the hallway anymore because my husband has hip problems (had both replaced last year). After one hour we finally got in a room #303. Waited on refrigerator that never came (after requesting twice and staff stating it's coming), red stains on floor in bathroom, no microwave, asked for Riverview room when booking (got view of parking lot), thin covering, small flat pillows and so on and so on.
Staff wasn't real friendly. Service and room should have been better for the money you pay. I would never stay again even if it was free.

Nice casino but music was loud and had fairly tight slots... Covered parking was a plus. Dealers were decent folks. Missed Monopoly slots which seem to have been removed from all casinos :>(. Decor was nice and our room clean but how I wish smoking was banned...had to shower often to remove odors--- quit smoking PEOPLE!

Hotel desk and valet; great service. Deli is closed from 6AM until 10AM. Tried to get a cup of coffee from the restaurant to take to the room, but was told very rudely by the waitress that "we don't do that" as she turned and walked away. Won't go back to this hotel. The in room coffee was as bad as almost all in room coffee I've had.

Room was clean and nice.

I was please to read that you had a good experience with our hotel and valet, but am sorry about your experience trying to get a good cup of coffee. The server should have directed you to our self-service coffee stations on the casino floor. I have forwarded your feedback to our Food & Beverage director who will assuredly address this lack of professionalism with his staff. We have some very good F&B staff, but evidently you ran into one of the ones who does not meet our service standards.

We hope this won't prevent you from coming back to visit. Next time you are here, drop me a note before you arrive and I'll personally get you our best cup of coffee!

Traveling through the south, we stopped in Vicksburg, Mississippi overnight for a little rest and relaxation. The Hotel was very clean , the Mississippi[pi River view was breath taking and the staff was friendly. I even won a nice size jackpot. That was a surprise. The Casino people were friendly and did offer drinks. There was a drink bar as well, and it was free.

This was our second time staying here. We found the room to be clean and smoke free just as the first time. We had a complimentary hair dryer for hotel room use, coffee maker, and a basket of soaps. shampoo, lotion. The brand name was "Green Tea."

There was one king size bed and a sitting area.The quilt on the bed was thin and plain. The bedding was clean but definitely 2 star rating for beauty.

Our television was full size. We had an ice bucket, tray and coffee and tea cups and servings.

Have stayed a couple times in the past few years, it is still a nice place to stay, the rooms are quiet, beds are firm, ( no pillowtop), but the towels are getting a bit thin....
Was really surprised that they have not replaced them. It seems to be time that the beds and towels get a new look.

Room tip: Ask for a river view, if not they will give you a room with a rooftop view, like I got twice...
