had one nite here for some much needed R&R after a reunion. Comfy beds and good breakfast. The breakfast goes til 9:30am but they pretty much had every thing taken down well before 9:30! Don't cut it close or you will miss out. Several restaurants nearby was also handy.

Room tip: Arrive for free breakfast well before cut off time or you will miss out!

The staff at this Fairfield Inn were great. We were greeted on our arrival with a smile and small gift bag full of treats. You don't see that very often. Unfortunately the room and the hotel were 'worn', carpeting pulling up and seeming not to be be very clean. Small things in the room needed replacing or repaired. The towels and sheets were clean and fresh and the bathroom clean.

The breakfast was good and had lots of choice.

Over all if the things that I have mention could be undated and changed the hotel would be great.

Room tip: Ask if they have new carpeting...especially if you have allergies

Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Vicksburg, MS. Its close to the highway but good drive from downtown. Its an older property and pretty worn down. Has free breakfast which unfortunately was the same thing everyday (Eggs, Sausage, Bread, Cereals, Juice and Coffee). And a small managers reception which also was the same thing everyday (Cocktail smokies, cheese, crackers and goldfish and some beer and wine). They really need to add some variety to the food choices, mix it up a little bit. Staff was very friendly. The handicapped room we stayed in had a lot of weird noise that we could never figure out what it was (room 212). We were right next to elevator which was a very small elevator. They asked for documents on my service dog which they are NOT supposed to do. Need to update your staff on the ADA. Vicksburg definitely needs some new hotels.

Room tip: Room 212 has a lot of noise that we could not figure out what it was.

Booked this hotel by mistake. Meant to book Courtyard which we loved, and which costs only a few dollars more. Fairfield is tired looking. Wallpaper peeling, small bathrooms and mediocre breakfast. On the plus side room had fridge and mw, free wifi. Coffee undrinkable. Next time will book the much nicer Courtyard.
