P&P is a nice little resort, located directly on Chaweng Beach, with it's own access to the beach, however no beach loungers, which was a bit of a let down but I could live with that. Being on the beach was what I wanted so this was a really nice place to stay. I had my own little 'hut', which was nice and arranged like a honeymoon suite when I arrived. The decor was not the nicest but on Koh Samui, you hardly want to stay in your room all day, which meant I definitely didn't care. The rooms are cleaned every day, which is nice and there is a fan and aircon in the room. The resort has a nice little pool, with deck chairs, which was definitely a cute highlight. Unfortunately, for the high price I was paying, there was no free breakfast. I had an omelette from the restaurant once, which was really nice but apart from that, I ate breakfast in Arc Bar, next door, where the cheese toasties are especially nice. ;) The wi-fi was a bit of a let-down, as the connection in the room was terrible but in public areas it was ok. Chaweng Beach is not far from the airport so you get planes flying overhead every hour, which I found cool but I can see that some people might find it annoying. Another thing is the Arc Bar next door. They have a pool party every night and the music can be pretty loud at night. I stayed close to the beach but I would recommend getting a room a bit further away, as I imagine you wouldn't be able to hear the music as loud. P&P was the most expensive accommodation I stayed in during my Thailand trip but since it's right on the beach, has a pool and nice rooms, the prices are totally ok. I booked online but if you just arrive, you could probably barter for better prices (perhaps only in low season). Staff weren't as friendly as I would have liked them to be but I didn't have any problems with unfriendliness either. P&P is also just a stones throw away from the nightlife (Green Mango, etc), which makes it a good place to stay if you're on your own or in a group.
