My wife and I spent a week here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we were looking for. The cottages were nice and peaceful, the outdoor showers were wonderful and we enjoyed spending time in the hammock on the deck. The main "lodge" is very nice and the food was excellent. It has a secluded beach with good snorkeling and a beach bar. The downside is all of the steps to get to and from the beach.

The staff is great. They made sure everything was taken care of without being annoying about it.

We aren't the type to hang out at the beach or pool all day, so the only drawback was the location - it's quite a trek to get in and out of the place to anywhere else on the island.

We were in St Lucia once before and stayed in Rodney Bay. This was definitely a step up. St Lucia is a beautiful island and I'll be back.

we got there at night so couldnt see the beauty of it at first but got impressed by the reception hall which is gorgeous. the room was very spacious and we very much enjoyed the hammac outside and the outside shower garden.
the view in the morning was breathtaking, so green and so blue.
the staff is lovely and they do everything for you to have a great time.
the continental breakfast is great, fresh.

few steps down to the anse cochon beach with lovely lounger beds, complimentary canoe and you can snorkle. sea life is gorgeous. many boats actually stop there for this. this is very special.

there are many activities day and night.
the romantic dinner on the private terasse was out of this world. they made it so special.

Loved it all and gutted we had to leave.

thanks for everything to the ti kaye family. i warmly recommend it.

Just back from a 4 night stay at Ti Kaye. My wife and I, and the couple we went with, loved it – and were astonished by the passionate guest service from everyone. They really care that each and every guest is happy – all the time.

From our pre-arrival emails re reservations, hire car etc – to our departure – service was spectacularly efficient.

We had one complaint – about the refurb / builders noise at the Beach bar / restaurant which was disturbing our beach tranquillity. I told them I did not like it, and asked them to stop – and not only were tools downed immediately, but the GM appeared on the beach 10 mins later to apologise.

I am a discerning / fussy / not one to hesitate to complain type – and I was very impressed with their “guest happiness is paramount” attitude.

Things we loved:

• Great views – and we were in the cheapest room
• Big covered balcony with chairs and hammock
• Outdoor shower
• Big fridge in room
• Walk-in wardrobe
• Beach cocktails
• Eco-style but without banging on about it
• Secluded beach
• AMAZING VALUE – I think per night about half the price of comparable places in St Lucia

Things we loved less:

• Beach bar / restaurant – being refurbed and very limited menu. Would have liked sun-downers at beach, but closes at 4 pm
• Lots of boats coming to “our” beach with loads of snorkelers
• Buffet dinner night – boring / disappointing food
• Breakfast was limited – you had to pay for eggs, pancakes etc – which is not what I would normally expect from hotel breakfasts

Other things to note

• Not a party place – super quiet couple / honeymooners place
• Quite remote – really only Marigot Bay is close enough for dinner (30 mins) and really need a hire car
• Getting to the pitons is at least 60 mins drive

Great job Ti Kaye team - we will be back!

We did not stay here but made reservations for lunch and so could drive right to the beach and waterside restaurant. The beach is excellent, with good snorkelling at either end. You can order drinks from the beach boys, and the pina coladas are great here. After baking your body, enjoy a lunch at the restaurant, which sits right at waters edge. While we were there, the kitchen was being totally redone so entries were limited and all cooking done on the grill so the rating is based on the ambiance and if the food from the new kitchen matches the ambiance, it could go higher. More changes are planned, a new deck on the beach end, lighter colors, etc, so stay tuned. After lunch, walk up the 66 steps to the spa, bar, wine cave and observation decks above. Bring a camera.

My husband and I stayed at Ti Kaye for one week on our honeymoon. We were picked up by a friendly guy at the airport and ahead of us were waiting a 1,5 hour tour by car on very winding and poor roads, with lots of ups and downs. Although a beautiful landscape was the view during the time and when finally arriving at The resort an even more beautiful view were waiting us. We were welcomed with a local drink and then escorted to our rooms. We had a standard room.

Rooms
The room has a large terrace with a nice view over The ocean with some trees in front. Large and comfy bed. Outdoor shower. You get shower gel, schampoo, conditioner and lotion. That's pretty much of it. The mini bar is a fridge with a bottle of tap water (you can drink tap water everywhere on The resort and it's good ) and a bottle of Milk and some french press Coffee. If you want beer (5 us $) or snack you have to order it by bringing a list to The reception. There's a radio, no tv, a walkin closet and a safe. The windows have no glass screens but have wooden blinds to close during night.

4,5/5

Pool area
It was very easy to get sun beds by The pool. Comfy ones with mattress. It was mostly just 2 other couples there. Very quiet. The view over The ocean is fantastic. There's grass on the ground which is Nice but gets muddy when it has rained. The pool is clean and cute, maybe 12 meters long and not heated which We enjoyed in The hot weather. They put out two jars of cold water and glasses on a table but usually put them out there pretty late (after 10 am). So sometimes we had to go in and ask for water. They are very bad on taking orders for drinks at The pool. We had to walk into The restaurant and ask for a drink menu. And when they finally have taken The order you can count on waiting a while to get your drink. A big minus according to us. To use the bathroom you need to walk trough the restaurant.

4/5

Beach
A small intimate Beach. Also easy to get beds. You have to take about 165 stairs to get there. No problem for us, it was quite a work out though to get back again. Canoeing was included for free for those who like, that's the only free activity. You can rent snorkling equipment for 11 us $. Everyday boats from other resort come here to snorkle so from time to time there's quite a lot of people. They stay on the left side though and are not welcome by the sun beds. The service here is also quite bad (althoug better then by the pool ) and often very slow. If you need to use the bathroom you have to go to the Beach restaurant (like 50 meters from the Beach) and get a key to the bathroom which is situated about 20 stairs above the restaurant.

4/5

Service
The staff is friendly BUT some of them have a little bit of arrogant attitude and it is difficult to get their attention. The cleaning in The rooms are good. See more about service under pool area and Beach. To get your Beach towel you have to go to the reception and give a voucher. You have to return your towel at the reception each day to get a new voucher. If you loose the voucher it Costs about 20 dollar.

2,5/5

Food
The Food was according to us OK. Sometimes pretty good but most often just average. Not to much flavours, quite expensive and The price in The menu exludes tax and service on 20%, so always count on that! The breakfast although was good according to us and includes:

Parfait /yoghurt
Exotic fruit
Nuts/cereals
Smoked salmon rolls
Salami
Mortadella ham
Two choices of Cheese
Local ham
Lots of juices
Different choices of bread (english muffin, bagel and toasts)
Pastries
Coffee /tea

(Be aware that the menu may change, this is what was served during our stay )

If you'd like something else you have to order it for an extra cost.

There are two restaurants, The one up stairs where you have breakfast and mostly dinner (If you'd like lunch there, you have to order minimum of two courses) and The one down stairs. This one though was under construction during our stay so the lunch menu was very limited (4-5 courses to choose between). We were pretty tired of the menu after four days. I don't think you can have dinner there except for special occasions.. we had sea food dinner there for 50 us $ pp on a special night. It was 5 courses. Although we were hoping for some crabs, Clay fish, prawns or similar. The menu in The up stairs restaurant changes every day.

3/5

Surroundings
The view, The nature and surroundings are beautiful. As this hotel is secluded which we prefer, there is no convinient store nearby. If you want to take a walk, you need to to take a walk on The short Beach forth and back or around in The area between the cottages.

4,5/5

Activities
There are some Activities to do i.e snorkling, scuba divig, climb the pitons (Mountains), go to castries, land and sea tour, canopy tour, hike in The forest etc.

We did land and sea tour. It included taxi boat to the city Soufrire, by car we went to a botanical garden where we were guided for an hour, then we went to a water fall for a quick bath and then to a volcano to see some smoke and get a story about it. Then we went to Soufrire for a quick shopping (not much to shop). It was a fun tour since it included serveral places, although a little overprice. Most activities cost about 150-170 us $ pp.

Spa/gym
We didn't try the spa since it was pretty expensive for a treatment but it was situated beautifully with a breath taking view!

The gym has a treadmill, a bike, a row machine and some weights. Ok for us for some quick work out. You can take a yoga class for 15 us $ If you want.

Other
You can pay with us dollars which we didn't know so we brought carribean dollars which was unneccessary.

They take a 1000 $ deposit on your credit card when you arrive.

To sum it up:
Beautiful hotel with wonderful surroundings and nature! Friendly but sometimes a bit arrogant staff and mostly slow and hard to get your attention. Especially by the pool. Clean areas. Average food. Quiet and few people and a paradise for you who just want to cath some sun, relax and don't mind your wallet to much since most stuff cost extra, whether it is food or activities. A potential paradise!
