LIAT (LI), also known as Leeward Islands Air Transport, is an Antigua-based airline that has operating bases at VC Bird International Airport (ANU) in St. John's, Antigua, and Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) in Bridgetown, Barbados. The carrier was founded in 1956 and flies to more than 15 islands in the Caribbean, as well as the South American country of Guyana. LIAT also has codeshare agreements with Virgin Atlantic (VS) and JetBlue Airways (B6). Its fleet of 11 aircraft consists of ATR 42-600, ATR 72-600 and Bombardier Dash 8 300 planes.

We would have liked to make this trip by ferry but it was impossible for reasons we heard from locals. The same happend also between other islands. The prices for 30 min flights are sky high because there are no other possibilities. The flights were usually in time.
