Founded in 2004 as Awair, Indonesia AirAsia (QZ) is a budget airline headquartered in Tangerang. Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), Surabaya's Juanda International Airport (JIA) and Medan's Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO) are primary hubs. Denpasar's Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and Bandung's Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO) are secondary hubs. The airline flies to about 20 destinations. About half of these are domestic, but flights are also available to four destinations in Malaysia, two in Australia, one in Singapore and two in Thailand. Indonesia AirAsia has a fleet of 29 Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

Unethical Airline Changes Flight Time Continuously

Original flight delayed to 1am. Air Asia allow me to change my flight to 7:25pm but then 1 hour later this flight was also delayed to 10:15pm. And the 1 hour before flight delayed to another 30min. Very unethical company due to unethical leadership with motive of making money from customer without caring the effect and impact. After stop taking Air Asia for few years, trying out today and the result is still the same. A good reminder that I will never take Air Asia ever again. It service and quality is just like the share price… worthless.

Terrible experience

Very uncomfortable small seats. I’m not big but so narrow. Food really bad. Just chucked on table. My husband was brought his choice of food for the flight. It was inedible. Both meals brought at same time ! No entertainment. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. My boiling hot coffee fell in my lap i was burned. Help was poor from the staff. I was shivering in shock and the plane was so cold. Everyone wearing coats. I asked for a blanket as my clothes were soaked. I was told I would have to pay for one. Completely inhumane. I will never travel with them again

Fantastic price. Uncomfortable.

Air Asia Indonesia gave me the low prices I needed for my budget holiday. The staff were polite, the flights were on time, the plane was clean, I was communicated information regarding flight changes. However I did find the seats small and uncomfortable - you get what you pay for. Also there was also some kind of issue with previous passengers bringing alcohol on board. This resulted in the airline double checking our bags for liquids and everyone had their water (bought after security screening) taken away immediately before boarding. There was no opportunity to buy any more water for the 4 hour duration of the flight. I recommend ordering yourself drinks in advance as you would food. If you want to sit together I also recommend paying for it in advance.

A bag is more expensive than a seat

Dumbest airline I’ve ever taken. Don’t ever take it. How on earth is the baggage allowance 7 KG for two bags?! Are you carrying one outfit for your international flight? Just plain STUPID.

I will never use this Airline again

Worest Airlines ever! They didn’t inform me that I need a visa to transit in Singapore and when I knew which was at chick in time they didn’t offer help at all to redolve the problem. They didn’t cancel my flight or even want to rebook for me. No refund nothing at all. What a bad company
