We flew Alaska Airlines out of LAX and loved the flight! The travel time was supposed to be over 2 hours, however we got there in just under 2 hours. The flight crew and staff were awesome. The flight has free Wi-Fi and plugs to charge your devices. The food in first class was really good and the flight was...

Alaskan Airlines service clerks were very mean. They did not want to help with a problem in my name when I was about to check in. Alaskan Airlines people put one obstacle after the other and I lost my flight. I had to buy another ticket for me and my mom and the only thing I heard from them was:...

I recently flew a redeye from Anchorage to Chicago in First. I can't say enough about how nice the staff is. The problem was the fitout of the plane, which was decidedly past its prime. It was a 737-700 -- so the overhead space was severely limited. In first, the seats were bigger, but barely reclined and had no foot...

Didnit know that Alaska Airline bought Virgin America. Flight from SFO to PVR was in Virgin America plane which has individual tv monitor for your enjoyment. Was told the Alaska airline plane does not have this luxury. You have to bring your own laptop,. IPAD or smart phone to watch any shows they offer. I hope they keep these Virgin...

Why does any airline make itself unable to do even the simplest process? Alaska has actually built a system to prevent their employees from providing a basic service designed to make it possible for passengers from a sister airline ON THE SAME TICKET to make a seat change this ruined a first class trip when it would have made it...

Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary we decided to spend beyond our means and travel First Class to Hawaii. Knowing that the flight was a long one we were excited to be pampered by good seats, a few cocktails, dinner on board and if needed access to the First Class lounge in Seattle during the layover. Here's what we got: No...

I have been flying for more years than I can to tell you about. I will start by saying that Alaska is no better or worse than the other major carriers. Their staff is nice and very helpful which is a big plus. On our out bound flight we paid extra for the exit row seats which was well worth...

During our flight on July 6 my husband became ill and passed out. The attendants flew into action. They got him oxygen etc and called the medical while in flt. They were calm, collected his info and he had retained awareness. They constantly were cking on both of us. A wonderful EMT from Fort Worth was on board and assisted taking...

The flight was uneventful. Purchase of hold baggage was easy and straightforward at check in desk. Looked like first class just got a partitioned,Area and probably extra food, not sure what difference was. Happily fly with them again.

About Alaska Airlines
The seventh-largest airline in the United States, Seattle-based Alaska Airlines (AS) flies to about 100 destinations in the United States, Mexico and Canada. As the name implies, it's a major carrier in the state of Alaska, flying to about 20 large and small destinations throughout the state. The airline has four hubs: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Portland International Airport (PDX), Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Most of its aircraft operate with two classes of service: First Class and Economy Class. Passengers flying in First Class have access to the airline's lounge, known as the Board Room, which has locations at about 20 airports.
