Allegiant staff arent at counter so we miss our flight. Thier fault and did not care!

It was my first and last time taking allegiant. On the flight back the instruction said get there an hour before your flight we got there an hour and four minutes before our flight and there was no staff at the Allegiant counter and we tried to flag down other staff to go grab allegiant staff and they had already gone back early. I don't understand why the policy says to get there an hour before if an hour and four minutes before no one's at the counter. We missed our flight because of allegiant and they refused to do anything for us and we had to pay $700 for a different flight to get home. I emailed customer service and they basically said they will do nothing for people missing their flight even though it was their staff's fault we missed our flight. Cost us an extra $700 in this company does not care about their customers.

Allegiant Air has a reputation it should not be proud of.The most uncomfortable seats of any airline.So uncomfortable after a 2 1/2 hour flight my neck and back hurt for 3 days after my flight.. excessive fees for baggage.no wifi.dirty planes. avoid this airline altogether.seriously

Punta Gorda - NewburghInternational

Lighten Up Karen 989921843 LOSE THE ATTITUDE KAREN! It must have been Plumpwheat’s first day working the gate in Punta Gorda for Newburgh flight 958. We paid for a carryon bag. She would not let us take the bag on the plane that we paid extra for. She sent a bunch of us like a parade to a different unmanned gate to hand over our luggage and pay to have it checked. when a supervisor came and asked what we were all waiting for, We explained and the supervisor said “the girl who works this gate called in sick, your bags are all paid carryons what’s wrong with her?” She was eventually “OVERRULED” by her supervisor who had to explain the definition of a “PAID CARRYON BAG” & “PAID CHECKED BAG” There’s nothing wrong with being wrong or making mistakes. I make mistakes but I Just own it and apologize. Oh, and don’t do it with an (B) witchy “know it all” attitude talking down to customers and then not apologize for it after being corrected by your superior.

Do Not Fly with Allegiant

Horrible service. Flight was delayed just for us to get in the air and smells fuel and have to turn around and land. Luggage damaged during the trip and the airline refused to repair. Bottom of the barrel service, so yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere this airline does not care about his reputation or its passengers.
