DONT FLY WITH AVIANCA

F*** Avianca I didn’t feel well because I was super stressed and arrived late from the previous flight and right before takeoff had a panic attack. Before I know what’s happening they’re TAKING ME OFF THE PLANE. I was sitting next to a DOCTOR, and although I unfortunately had to use the vomit bag, which was NOT readily handy ! i felt fine after that and I was even seated next to a Doctor who stayed very relaxed and knew I would be fine … But instead they took me off the plane and called the medics ! And meanwhile taking my vitals, which were fine, they let the plane take off without me ! I have been on planes before when someone gets sick, a pregnant woman most recently and that airline brought the medics onboard and after a little while we were all able to take off. But avianca forced me off and then told the plane to leave ! Instead of waiting the 5-10mins for my body to relax Now I’m stuck outside on the floor outside the airport in the rain trying to figure out how to get to my destination b/c there aren’t any more flights and on top of that I’m going to miss all my connections (I’m going all the way to the Maldives from Costa Rica). The man helping was 👎🏽 and would NOT give me his name or any other info and even called the cops on me, 2 ladies who just crossed their arms and said sorry can’t help you, then forced me outside and told all the guards I wasn’t allowed back in. Worst customer service. DONT FLY WITH THEM. On top of that I tried to call customer service and … zero answer Luckily I was able to purchase another ticket online, and the new guard and police officer allowed me to go inside to sleep since my new flight wasn’t until the next morning. At least some people have some human decency 🙏🏽 **update since I had to spend the night in the airport, I spoke with someone at their counter in the morning and told her my situation. She was very nice and helpful and since I got a photo of the guy she told me his name and I’ll be making a formal complaint for his utter lack of empathy and customer service. Besides losing a day of travel, it cost me $1k just to make it on another flight with a different airline DONT FLY WITH THEM…

Terrible customer service

Broke my suitcase during handling (the handle of the suitcase was completely destroyed) and refused any type of responsibility. Terrible customer service.

Monster airline, the worst one.

My flight was cancaled by Avianca itself, not my reason, then I called service center, I was told it's free to refund, then I requested, but it had been almost three months, it is still in progress, so redicilous, I need my money back.

Horrible

The worst customer service experience for my father. The kiosk machine couldn't read his passport so avianca charged him because they had to do the check in manually, and if he didn't pay he couldn't board the plane. We have traveled with avianca for many year but with this experience we will never fly with them again. El Peor servicio al caliente que mi papa a tenido que vivir. El kiosko no leia su pasaporte asi que lo tuvieron que aser manual, y por ESO le cobraron, y si no lo pagaba no podia abordar El avion. Hermosa viajado con avianca por muchos años, pero con la experiencia de ahora no volveremos a viajar con ellos.…

Avianca airline, bad experience

Bad experience: So, we bought 2 flex tickets with 2 checked bags included on Avianca. We had only one bag to check and a baby stroller/car seat combo. Avianca (member of star alliance) said the stroller/car seat combo counts as two and made us pay $200 for the car seat part! We asked for compassion considering the combo one or waive the car seat. They did not. Customer retention is incredibly important for business, yet, they were willing to let go of two good paying customers for $200, because for sure, this is the first and last time we fly Avianca.…
