there is an old saying. you get what you pay for. that is exactly true with this airline. it has the cheapest business class flights to thailand. the planes are dated. the food is average. the seats dont recline fully.

After reading some unpleasant review about China Airlines, I was convinced that I wouldn't enjoy the experience. But it turned out way better than what I expected. The customer service was amazing especially when the crew greeted us with smiles and a warm welcome. The food wasn't the best but it filled my stomach at the very least. This was...

Really poor performance, Airline is late a lot of times. Beijing is a night mare as a between destination. Staff is not very well trained and unfriendly. If I don't have too I would not fly again. Poor choice of movies.

It's our first time to fly with this airline. Me and my family of 4 are a frequent flyer, and was so delighted to experience how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Being a frequent flyer we would normally eat our meal before and after each destination. But so surprise how the food went well for all of us. Even...

After reading some comments with regard to China Airlines I was s bit apprehensive but what a fantastic flight from take off to landing. The added bonus was having a meal and drinks. While language was a bit of a minor issue hand signs did the job.

I had read some poor reviews of this airline so I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the seats to be reasonable for a long flight. There were some problems with the entertainment consoles but staff did what they could to remedy them. The food was not the greatest I have had but most of...

This airline's smaller, newer jets for shorter hauls of 5 or so hours are fine, but the 747 they use for transpacific flights is an old, rickety, cramped nightmare for travellers. While they hire tons of staff, if you are placed, as we were, at seat 47 (and no one will allow you, on 4 legs of the journey to...

Vegetarian meals were exceptionally poor, even for an airline. A mid night drop in Taipei resulted in no assistance to transmitting passengers resulting in much wasted time and confusion. Returning from Bali, the airlines left only 2 agents to check in hundreds of passengers. The result was over 2 hours of waiting in line. On the good side, the plane...

Decided to give China Airlines a go.Liked the price and other reviews on Trip Advisor. Announcements hard to understand on board and made more difficult because the background music is not turned down. In flight entertainment is average and ear plugs supplied are not very good, they hurt when in the ear and difficult to hear anything over the sound of...

Part of an APT tour of China The airplane was certainly clean and modern but rather cramped in economy class. Fortunately our flight was not all that long so the limited legroom was not a major problem Like other airlines in China departure times seem to be a hit and miss affair. Pull back times were roughly OK but then...
