The airlines cancelled the flights 6 days before the departure without any arrangement for alternative flights. They suggested me to rebook the flights which are double/tripe the price without any compensation. I requested refund. After they approved my refund application. They put the flight which was cancelled before back to the schedule on the same day, of course with the increasing price. This seems like a scam to me when the airlines provides zero support for replacing the cancelled flight, and put the flight back to make customer pay more.…

I booked a flight for myself and my wife in premium economy a month before the departure through Delta (code share) but was unable to choose seats on the YVR-AMS leg. The map was given as unavailable. I thought I would wait a few days and try to get seats again. No luck. Delta was unable to help - they couldn't see a seat map either but on a later call said they would send an error report. The KLM customer service rep with whom I spoke gave me the same story - no seat selection until check in 30 hours before departure. Another rep on a chat gave me the absurd story that this was a policy to make sure that there were seats available on check in. It is now three days before departure and we still have no seat assignments. I've been flying for 60 years and have logged well over a million miles on various airlines. I've never before encountered this. My last flight on KLM!…

KLM moved my return up a day, so I lost a nonrefundable hotel night. Then KLM cancelled the flight and switched me to Emirates leaving at a different time, with a 10 hour layover, similar with the return. KLM offered the "cancel" option, which I did cancel with its assurance of a refund in 3-6 months. It is now 7 months and it still says to be patient!!! (I did rebook on SWISS and it runs like a clock.) But I am still 'ticked' off at KLM.…

We just got back from travelling with KLM to Bangkok from Leeds Bradford and I really wanted to share how great the experience was. We use Business Class for long haul flights once a year and have travelled with several different airlines - Etihad, Qatar, Emirates, Virgin, BA - and we were interested to see how KLM measured up, particularly to the Middle Eastern airlines who tend to win the awards. Our experience was really really good. All our 4 flights were on time or early, the comfort of the seats and cabin was very good and the food and entertainment was also impressive. The cabin crew genuinely were the icing on the cake though. They cannot do enough for you, they are friendly whilst remaining professional, they are discreet but always there when you need something and they all work well as a team which is evident. We accidentally left an item of value at the departure gate on the way out and they really helped us on both legs to be reunited with it when we came back through Schiphol. The pilot contacted the ground crew for us and they helped us with detailed instructions on what to do once we got off, ensured we were first off to give us the best chance of getting there on time before the office closed. The chief purser was most disappointed that he couldn't actually get the item to the plane doors for us but this was understandably due to security. Overall, I would highly recommend KLM for their value for money, attention to detail and quality of service but most of all for their friendliness which makes the journey just that bit nicer.…
