This airline is great with a well thought through boarding process, and great service. I flew from Portland to Denver, and they served peanuts and crackers during the flight. The seats are all good quality and have pretty good legroom. You can watch TV for FREE aboard which is great but wifi and movies cost money. This airline is great...

We never fly any other airline unless we need to go somewhere Southwest does not fly into. No hidden fees. No delays if you fly early. Easy baggage check-in. Nice people.

Southwest has gone down hill! Overcrowded, staff not as friendly, and planes old and dirty. The lack of assigned seating does not guarantee that you can find 2 seats together. This is important for travelling with a child over 6. Service bad and just a terrible experience.

Our plane was experiencing an hour delay due to some difficulties within the San Francisco in-coming flight. They kept us well informed and even bought us a drink on the plane for our inconvenience! They're the greatest!!

This was my second time flying Southwest and my husband's first. We had great leg room compared to other major airlines. The staff was friendly. I loved that you can log into Southwest while in flight and watch the plane travel across the US.

I flew from Atlanta to Jacksonville on July 2nd, 2017. I have to say I was not impressed with Southwest on this return trip back to Jacksonville. The gate agents were good but they were not the problem. I had EarlyBird Check-In. I selected an aisle seat on the 5th row. Everything is ok until the end of the boarding...

I flew Southwest from Jacksonville to Atlanta on June 26th, 2017 on flight 435. I flew Southwest because I found a great deal on a flight. On the trip out everyone I encountered was great. This includes the gate agents and flight attendants. Everyone was friendly and funny. Our aircraft was an old Boeing 737-300 and it was very comfortable...

I bought tickets using the Southwest app many months in advance and purchased Wanna Get Away category. We left in the afternoon and arrived in Orlando in the early evening. I would recommend applying for TSA precheck to save a little time and the inconvenience of removing shoes. My motherinlaw and children were able to get through with that status...

I use them for more than this route, but usually in the West ONLY. They are not available via travel search engines like Expedia, Priceline, etc. Go right to the website. Sometimes you can find bargains. Not always. They are OK for on-time ratings. It is a bit of a hassle to get an A, B, C, D boarding number....

About Southwest Airlines
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines (WN) is the world's largest low-cost carrier. Southwest operates non-stop flights to more than 100 destinations across 10 countries. Unlike many major airlines, Southwest does not use hubs, but rather a point-to-point system. About 15 airports with a significant amount of WN flights have been designated as focus cities. The airline's fleet is configured with just an Economy Class cabin. In contrast to many low-cost carriers, Southwest does not charge a fee for up to two checked bags; non-alcoholic drinks and pretzels or peanuts are also free on board. Early boarding access, automatic online check-in and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
