Worst service ever, I will never do this mistake and book on this airlines. When I booked my flight I paid extra value to book the seats for my family (5 seats). On the travel day it was the surprise, I arrived at the check in to realize that the flight is over booked, and the statement of the staff is that they sell 120% of the flight seats, simple selling some tickets twice and then they tell you that you will be on waiting list . ..... uh !!! Is that legal????? So instead of taking front seats that I paid for, a got scattered seats at the back end !!!!! Will never book with this airlines and I do not recommend anyone to do so.......

The worst business class you can ever fly is Turkish Airline. From rude staff to bad food everything is bad here. I always fly with Emirates and Qatar business class from recently I thought to travel with Turkish Airline and it was the most traumatic experience ever. Boarding Experience: The Boarding experience is very bad, even though there is a line for business class but people stumble on each other. No special treatment. Staff Behaviour: The cabin crew are very rude and unwelcoming. Everytime you ask them something they will behave like you have done something illegal. Food: I pre-booked a special meal but these people only served me noodle on a 10 hour flight from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur. Seats: The seats are okay but the leg area is just exposed unlike other business class flights and I didn’t like them. Overall Service: Again very bad Only good thing was I had a chance to avail TourIstanbul.

Worst company I've ever used. Customer service is very poor. They canceled the flight 20 hours in advance and did not offer anything alternative. You will not receive any refunds or compensations. They do everything to make their application and obtaining it hellishly difficult. You will never receive compensation, even the Civil Aviation Authority agrees with them. In other words, they don't give a damn about customers. I will personally try to eliminate the use of these airlines.

We had a 11 legs flights from LYS (France), IST, NZQ, ALA, DEL, SIN, IST, LYS, YMQ, DCA, YMQ, LYS... And we made the mistake to select turkish airlines for 4 of our legs. The reason, they were providing daytime flight schedule for all of their flights. Between the reservation time (dec 23) and the departure time (Apr-24), they made 4 changes in the scheduled and cancelled 2 daytime flights to replace them by red eye flights. Each time, our front row seating with extra leg was cancelled and not always refunded. As I refused to flight SIN-IST during night, we had to flight from KUL to IST and cover the transfert from SIN to KUL ourselves. We had to cancel hotels, rebook some of tem, loose some nights. A minimum expense of 1600 EUR more than the original tickets with seating and, surprise, our seating was not provided for the 2 first legs, nor refunded ! Ground personel was unable to help - call customer service. Customer service asked us to create first a complaint with a reference number, and we did, then called back again customer service who was requesting all credit card slips for these additional expenses with an inquisitive unfriendly attitude... To facilitate, we suggested to forget the additional expenses and simply upgrade us in business... And the answered, Thank you for your call... good bye... I am too polite to write my thought here but I wish them a good bankrupcy in the coming years... Even cheap charter companies doesn't have such a bad service and we will cancel all possible operations from them via American express...

Near denial of flight entry on 9April2024 on flight TK168 from Istanbul to Singapore. My flight was scheduled to depart on 5pm Istanbul time to Singapore and I had actually reached the gate at 4.40pm which is the minimum time from departure(5pm). I had a pregnant wife and elderly parents with me who were forced to run to the boarding gate only to be denied boarding for reason as gate was closed. The lack of empathy from Turkish airlines ground operations stuff and Istanbul airport's services are appalling in this case. It has caused much distressed to my pregnant wife due to the running and potential rescheduling of our flight and the these experience left a horrible impression of both the airport and airlines. 1. Airport stuff - Requested a buggy for my pregnant wife to be send to the boarding gate as the gate was about to closed but the cold response was just buggy are only on reservation. NO solutions provided(I do not mind paying but please give a solution), so my pregnant wife had to RUN to gate F5. 2. Boarding crew - The 2 staff at the gate entrance did not even attempt to try and ask if it is possible to allow boarding when we reached ON TIME and simply wave it off as gate is closed even after my explanation. All they did was to take their bags and wanted to end their shift. I could see that the passenger boarding bridge was connected to plane and mind you, there are still cargo being loaded. Surely, there is a possibility of boarding or at least attempt to contact the ground staff or ground crew but again nothing was done by the 2 staff and mind you, the plane did not push off from gate till 5.15pm. To my luck, either the ground stuff at the counter or pilot intervened ,if not, I would not have been able to board. 3. Check in - I arrived more than 3 hours ahead of departure time. The efficiency of the check in counter(Just 2 for the whole flight) is just insanely slow. It took me an hour and a half just to check in my luggage. AGAIN, the staff just wanted to end their shift and I was left waiting for a change over in staff whilst at the counter and you expect your pregnant customer to run to the gate to be denied boarding even if I reach at exactly 4.40pm. How about addressing the operational bottleneck first instead of rushing your customers inside an already super big airport. Do refrain to take Turkish Airlines if you look beyond the hard product or even use Istanbul airport as a transit hub.
