Located three miles northeast of downtown Long Beach, the Long Beach Airport (LGB) is one of five commercial airports serving the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The airport serves as a hub for JetBlue Airways, and is also served by Delta Connection. Non-stop flights are available to about a dozen US destinations. In 2014, more than 2.8 million travelers passed through Long Beach Airport. Because of local noise ordinances, the airport is limited to 41 commercial flights and 25 commuter flights daily. LGB has five runways and a single passenger terminal divided into two concourses: North Concourse and South Concourse. There are a total of 14 gates. Airport amenities include several restaurants and a retail store. Ground transportation options include taxis, shared-ride shuttles, buses and rental cars.
