In 2014, more than 1.2 million travelers used City of Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (COS), making it the second-busiest airport in the state of Colorado. Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Express all operate at the airport, which is located six miles southeast of downtown. Passengers can fly non-stop to about 10 destinations across the United States. Colorado Springs Airport has three runways and a single terminal with 17 gates. Passenger amenities include free WIFI internet, restaurants, retail stores, a shoeshine stand, a massage stand, art exhibits, ATMs and a chapel.
