A lovely day out exploring Nikkō. There was so much to see and definitely worth the trip. Yoshi our guide had very good English and made sure our trip ran smoothly and catered to our needs.

We had a wonderful day exploring Nikko despite it being rainy. We had forgotten umbrellas but Haris out guide had some to lend to us. Haris provided explanations of the different shrines and history and suggested restaurants for us to eat at lunch time. He was a great guide and we organised another tour with him off the back of this tour. He was knowledgeable and gave local context to the different areas we visited. A great day!

Yoshi was an excellent driver and he wss very careful, sharing with us many things of the japanese culture and traditions. He made that we felt confortable and very confident. He also recommended other places to go and orher traditional mesls to try. Thank you very much Yoshi and tripadvisor!

We did two day tours to Nikko and Fuji with Live Nippon/Tour Master. They arrange a custom schedule for us for the Fuji tour so that we could go to the Fuji Safari park. Communication was fairly easily despite English being a second language and arrangements were made rapidly. On-the-day communication via WhatsApp was excellent and the people carrier arranged was clear and comfortable. Haris, our driver, was very friendly, punctual and great with our kids! Overall, a very positive experience.

Shoaib was an excellent driver and guide for a full day tour of Nikko and area from Tokyo for our family of 6. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Japan including of Nikko Toshogu. Live Nippon and Shoaib were very accommodating in customizing the tour for our family, including young children. Nikko is over 2 hours from Tokyo by van, but I would recommend this day trip to get a bit of history and some beautiful views of Japan.

Nikko was well worth the side trip for the Toshugu Shrine alone (one of the best we saw across several cities in Japan). Haris made our trip comfortable, with nice local context and driving skills. He offered to move the car for my elderly parents making their journey more enjoyable. Unlike other day tours to Hakone (and maybe this is because the entry to the shrine and falls are not included so the guide did not come with us), this was more of a driver-as-guide and not a true guide where they explain about the sites and history. The description says there is Wifi on the bus and there was not… a minor detail. Overall an enjoyable day with Haris who was accommodating and friendly.

My wife and I were lucky to have Sebastian as our tour guide. He’s English and Japanese is superb! He drove us safely around the Kamakura area. Kamakura is so rich with history and Sebastian was remarkable in providing details. He knows its history and we really appreciated how he explained the difference between Shinto Shrine and Buddhist Temple. He gave us enough time to explore the area during lunchtime just to ourselves too! We went to see the The Big Budha in Kotoku-in Temple. We saw hundreds of Small Buddha in Hasa-dera Temple. We walked around the Bamboo Gardens in Hokokuji Shrine, this place is so serene. We also stopped at the High steps of Tsurugaoka Shrine and had pictures with hundreds of empty Barrels of Sake in display at Hachimangu Shrine. Our last stop before heading back to Tokyo is Enoshima Island. On the way there we drove by the coast beach of Inamuragasaki, but it was gloomy that day Mount Fuji can’t be seen but it was still nice to have some breeze from Vitamin Sea of Japan. And with all these sights seeing, Sebastian took beautiful pictures of us. Thanks so much Sebastian for this splendid experience.

We had a special tailored trip to Tateyama Alpen Route to experience the Snow Wall in June! Imagine that, snow in June. It was a learning trip as we have no idea what to expect and what to really do. It was also Live Nippon's first trip of this kind. We are absolutely thrilled to be on this learning journey together. Farroukh is such a patient and gentle giant. He was just like another family member on our journey. We were so blown away by the sights of the Murodo mountain top, the fresh air at Tengudaira. The cozy wonderful hospitality at the Tengudaira Mountain Lodge. All these made come thru with the expertise of Khizar and Farroukh. Special thanks to Farroukh for driving us to and back from tokyo, This was perfect trip and we look forward to trips with these guys.

When I make the reservation for a one day tour, it should include a driver and a guide. There were 7 of us and we paid $902 and the whole bus to ourselves. To our disappointment we only had a driver who knows nothing about the history or culture of the places of interest. His job is to pick us up bring us to the places we need to visit and that’s about it. Anyone out there beware you could fall into this situation like us,

We had a great time today in Nikko. This UNESCO site I and its mountains and waterfall and important shrines are magnificent. Shoaib our driver and guide was knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Nikko is a great day trip from Tokyo and would recommend this Tour to everyone.

We enjoyed a private tour to Nikko with our driver guide Rashik. Rashik was professional, friendly, entertaining and informative as he showed us the UNESCO Shinto Shrines, Buddhist temple, Chezunji Lake and more. He adapted the tour to our needs Highly recommend.

We just had an amazing private tour with Mukarram. We chose this tour because it is the first time for my elderly mom in Tokyo but a second trip for us. He was very patient, flexible and entertaining. We learned more information about Tokyo during this trip. We appreciate all the expertise and patience.

Great day trip to Fuji with Haseeb. He made my son’s birthday extra special by organising a cake and a present of Fuji biscuits. He had excellent English and was knowledgeable as well. Highly recomnended!

The kindest and most gentle driver, I have ever met. 😍 Shoaib deserves 6 x star for the service he gave us. He was knowledgeable about the places he took us, he genuinely enjoyed answering all our questions in detail. 😃 He speaks Japanese, Russian, English, Urdu and Hindi. When we come back again from Australia, we want him. He was also very helpful in helping us get food to satisfy our dietary requirements, even looking up ingredients in the CAFE for us for some food and desserts. 🌹 Will definitely book again and advise family and friends because they will have a wonderful time like us 🥳.
